You are. Divine Favour lasts the same in extended as normal. Just checked it.

Timed em both using the stopwatch on my watch. I even repeated the tests on the off-chance that a temporal vortex opened up around me and swallowed one of the minutes in the first test.

while we're on the subject of battle "buffs" does anyone know how greater sanctuary works? the wiki doesnt list any changes but i;m pretty sure i was getting attacked while gsancd (trying to rescue a party wipe).

I believe Greater Sanctuary now works in a manner similar to regular Sanctuary. IE, you cast the spell, enemies near you have to make a save, if they fail the save, they are unable to attack you.
Serving NS4 proper as Lathander and Sleeth as Bahamut.

Yes, I'm a DM, but your build still sucks.

Ok I will check if its suppose to be extendable (divine favor) I will make it so if not I will post give me a day or so

fyi i did some timing tests a few days ago with divine favor. right now extended lasts the same as regular.

(board search before posting a problem ftw!)

EDIT ahh it was Divine Power that got fixed my bad

yes divine favor need to be fixed if it does not extend properly

Divine Favor does NOT handle Extended Spell.
Divine Power DOES.

Greater Sanctuary works like sanctuary with a higher DC because of its spell level. (Incidentally the wiki says this and has since Nov 2006...)

pretty sure divine -power- was fixed, but my recent test of divine -favor- shows it lasting 10 rounds extended or not (handily clocked against my non-pally-cot divine might).

that doesnt change the fact that i may actually be insane.. please somebody double check it.

fyi i started this thread waaay back then... the gsanc stuff is an old tangent and the wiki was updated after this thread was started.

when i bothered to check divine favor a few days ago i decided to just update this thread rather than start a new one. sorry for any confusion this threadcromancy may have started.

Just looked at the divine power code... 1 turn normally, 2 turns if extended, and Divine Favor is a fixed 60 seconds. 60 seconds = 10 rounds = 1 turn.

i guess the question is whether divine favor non extensibility is by design or by bug (as divine power was previously). Metis was going to look into that question earlier in the thread.
