Druid Water elemental shape Pulse attack

I noticed that the water elemental pulse attack damages the shifted druid also. The air shape pulse attack does not damage the shifted druid and the other two shapes have no special attacks. Just wondering if it is a bug?

I believe the water elementals special attack is drown (unless its been changed) which cuts your health in half in the attempt to insta-kill opponenet.
(as a water elemental you cut yourself and let loose water with which to drown opponent)

I didn't even think the effect was death, but more like heavy dmg. Kinda sad, at least how I recall, because its DC was something pitiful (14?). Has this been altered any recently?
