Just a random fact for pure rogues out there....

Halflings and Gnomes are of the small creature size, so despite Weapon Finesse stating that the Rapier is finessable, its not with Small-sized creatures. No two-handed weapon may be finessable, period. Bioware's retarded rules, the reason a quarterstaff isn't finessable.

Dumb rule, the 2bladedsword weights less than a mace that is finessable....

I always thought that the finessability of a weapon should require a certain minimum strength, depending the on the weight of the weapon. Sorta like what happened in BG2.

That does seem a more reasonable approach. We have characters with the strength to carry several thousand pounds, one would think that with that kind of strength a buick could be used as a finesse weapon. Not being sarcastic, if one can carry 15 or 20 buicks it only goes to reason with enough practice and hand eye coordination you could put just one of them exactly where you wanted to.

Again, we can place the blame for crappy implementation squarely on bioware. Whom as we already know dont seem to have logic as a strong point.

Any way you devs can implement that, or is it hard-coded?

if i were to play a rogue. itd be more of a personal fun/RPing and a nice support. sometimes one simply have to set aside the mind set of "My toon/character has to be the best on the server/module" "My toon has to be like Rambo (Sylvester Stallone) who can take on an entire mob all by himself"

But. :D a pure Rogue getting a granade Tipped arrow. thus doing a Fireball like Each hit will be awsome.
