Quests and Adventuring.
Currently Im wondering if there are any quests in place besides the jobs. I havent seen any, and this would be a nice addition. Or maybe something else to encourage players to adventure without necessarily looking for loot / raiding.

there are often DM events which could be anything from a treasuer (chest) hunt, a massive battle, or even a soccer game....just depends on dm availability and time of day, etc....

right. But thats not really the same. I guess what Im getting at kinda compounds on the post on devloping other lower lvl areas to get people there.. niragawas and others.. One way to get people traveling around te world is with built in quests..

they are not yet implemented for SL.
DM quests are better anyway as they are more interactive. Most built in quests will pretty much just have one ending and there is nothing you can do to alter the course of events. (some exceptions) DM events allow you to actually play outside the box because you have an intelligent person on the other side instead of a script.

Since I brought this a wee bit off topic, bad Metis
, DM type quests are fun for everyone involved and with multiple servers now they can be done with more ease. With the server always full creating monsters, visual effects, etc could put to much strain on the server and risk crashing it. I have seen some really great unique requests for quests and things like that. This is not a RP server but for my part I would expect it from anyone requesting something like that.
All factions will have jobs, the problem is they are very in depth and complicated therefore there are so many more bugs that it takes much longer to finish.
