Fiendish Aura AC decrease - Possible Bug ?

Post by kingfatzo »

IMAGES EDITED OUT BY FATZO  if they are needed again by ay of the staff, let me know !

First i want to thank the individual from IO who helped me experiment with this....thanks. :)

this is the second time i noticed a slump in my AC from standing /fighting in this fiendish aura (ralating to the MA job tolken bonus spell)....when in combat, my ac number plummets drastically....what i am not sure of is if this is a visual glitch or is this auctually effecting the preformance of my build  ...

heres the ss....normally, Caesars build has around 58 AC....... this drop occured in a matter of seconds... i would appreciate if the devs could take the time to test all possible scenarios that might cause this -- ty.

Is this while remaining inside the aura stationary or by moving in and out of it?

Also, you should easily be able to test if it's for real by having him take a few swings at you and noting the attack rolls.

And yes, the AC drop should only be firing once and not stacking...

movement in the aura seems to make it plummet....\

funny thing is, when i have never noticed this before --- but usually i wouldnt have any reason to glance at my stat window while fighting someone w. this aura....

stationary seemed to have little or no effect, moving around seemed to trigger the decrease.

i didnt get a clear view of the impact of the decrease in my SS....that was from an actual fight with this individual as i tried to steal a relic.... i had seen the ac decrease a few days ago in another fight.... and half the reason i attacked MA was to determine if it would happen again and hopefully document/test it....

at one point my ac was in the 30's, then i looked again and took an ss when i saw it at 13...it went down into the single didgets as well all while moving around and fighting, however this is the only SS that came out...my ac numbers moved very fast in combat ....is there another cast from the other ma job tolken as well ? i am not too farmiliar with the MA jobs, etc....there are times i hit my printscreen button but the SS doesnt take

Bah, you're just jealous of the fact that we have the relics half the time now 8)

The other MA job token gives 20% increased speed, 1d4 negative energy damage in melee, and a small negative energy damage shield.
