Stat Book Failure

I would like to document this here....i had thought this problem had vanished too

....i still always take SS's before i use a book just in case this ever happened.....

and low and behold it paid off..

so you have ss's of.....same stats, xp, and book in your inventory?

no i didnt auctually , by the time i tried to hop back on the server was down ....ill keep you posted...i have a class in 20 minutes so hopefully i can time it just right

when something like this happens... 99% of the time its solved by you logging out yourself.

Mask is of course correct.

I have been told that it helps to take off any gear that affects the stats being boosted as well... ie your belt.

I'm surprised at a few of your gear choices. I wanna duel ya sometime with Jord... summon or no summon your pick

ive used over a dozen books or so...never took off gear and never had a problem....just bad luck i gues...

yAy ! servers up and it seems the relog fixed the problem ....

all quiet on the western front.

It is time for more.... combat experiments. The xp loss will only be passing, you should survive the process. You have much ungained xp yet. Do you even realize my potential?

Braeken Candleward, my Dwarven Wizard, tried today to raise his intelligence with a tome +2. But to his dismay only gp and xp vanished.

I relogged twice to make sure if I could fix it with the 99% probability but no luck.

This happened in Avendell's hilltop inn, and only a few players were on.

EDIT: Bah, false alarm, it was a wisdom tome +2
