Server too Small!!
I hate not being able to get on sometimes.. Why cant the server be big like some of the other servers.. I think you should change the server size.. B/C it gets really annoying sometimes..
We are the music makers, and we are the Dreamers of Dreams
Will it be 2 separate servers, or will they be linked?

Separate - they're in geographically separate areas so there's no vault/db sharing across them.
There's advanatages and disadvantages to adding another server at NS4's current location, but it came down to an availability of resources. Any additional hardware we want to make an investment in will probably be for the NWN2 project. So, DM Fire had a server he graciously offered to let us use, so we're going with that.
We've never tried a separate community for NS4, so we'll see how it works.

On Ns 3.5 guilds were allowed to participate on any and all servers. It was an individual guild descision. I would expect it to be the same on NS 4.
As a former guild leader who had a guild on 3 servers, be forwarned that maintaining a guild across multiple servers can be very difficult.

But, like I said above, that wasn't really an option given our server resources.CrazyJ wrote:I'd rather split the server across the middle than have the playerbase totally broken in half by making it two parallel servers.
So, this is the next best thing. And who knows, maybe even a better thing.
