Jw, I'm sure there is a reason for this, but whats with the 2 guild per faction rule?

Actually he asked why such rule exsist it seems.

Its to encourage players to spread out over the different factions.

well as almost all (TC sadly still needs another) factions have 2 guilds how about increasing it to 3 each now?

Ewoks is still an official MA guild and HDA is pretty much dead. I havent seen many FoN/CLAD around or DD really.

I really think there needs to be like a quota or something for Official guilds so they have a chance to get the boot. Ewoks and HDA dont deserve the slot at this moment.

TC does have a niche for a more aggressive guild. TSS are generally quite defensive, peaceful types (not that i disapprove).

HDA may still object a bit to being ousted from SL, but i haven't seen a single ewok on post-wipe tbh. OTOH i've heard of a group called BoP that might be gunning for official recognition in MA, so you might have some competition for it.

I don't suppose the DMs will decommision a guild solely because of inactivity if there's no eligible replacement.
I'm just theorising, but the rule for official recognition is 5 active players (the ones in the seat, not characters) - if you can manage that and an official guild can't do the same then you might have a good case.

i guess i just haven't met the TSS members who take their level 30s up the trail slaughtering low levels, and the ones whose mantra is 'Red=Dead' then. my bad.
