Black Devil xp loss
Black Devil xp loss
I myself have lost xp to a Black Devil summons...I have not gotten a reply but have sent a couple of pms regarding this issue. I know a couple of people who have lost xp this way and would like anyone else that has seen this happen to post here with details. Maybe this issue is already being addressed but if not, this may help. Thanks

Honestly - sorry but this kind of thing falls so far down the food chain of current things being worked on that I've not even looked at it.
I'm pretty sure that when this kind of thing does occur it is only an occasional incident. This has happened with other people at other times and with other summons. Not just specifically Black Devil.
Little bugs like this happen from time to time and if the server is lagging we have become accustomed to the Bio engine doing odd things.

as you were already told in IRC. it couldn't be just the black devil causing the xp loss. it would be tied to all the summons so if its true for one then its true for the others.
yes everyone knows that summons sometimes and randomly cause xp loss.
no there isn't a whole lot that can be done about it.

This post ended on a positive note. I thanked those involved for further checking on it.
On IRC perhaps you misunderstood. Netrom said he'd never seen it happen and that it "shouldnt" happen with any summons but that sometimes things are unexpected with the bioware engine.
I only thought maybe others had seen the same thing and could toss up suggestions.
Not a big deal and thanks to all who looked into it.
