lagspikes at amazons

Post by ihuntudown »

Anyone having trouble to with the amazonscreens?
I get lotta lagspikes there last days and they only occur on the amazon screens. I tested on different areas across the realm on the same moment and there were not spikes on other places, most trouble with the spikes i get when i or a party member goes into HTH-combat with a lanceress. :?

Yes, amazons are pretty bad. It already begins with the low lvl ones. My characters won't move normally, while hitting them, they freeze in swinging their weapon while the fight goes on. I don't know what the reason is though.

The big final area, which is certainly very well built, the druids and the special perk of the amazons in general don't help with moving normally either.

Mezzo has another problem. It's the beholder toolset. It usually generates a bit of lag. Add to that the big spawns and mages et voilà.

Well, I had a similar problem today, only I got major lag in Ice Trolls.

It would take several MINUTES for my toon to respond to any input I gave him (thank god for an ac of 44), and whenever I would try to disengage from combat, either by running using the WASD keys, or clicking the mouse, my toon would always snap back to where he was and attack for another round, then just freeze doing that back-and-forth sway that you do during combat when you have several actions qued up.

When I died and respawned though, the lag was completly gone. It was back about 30 minutes later though... crappy wireless internet at my college...

Turning off sound in the configure window, helped lots to overcome the lag at the amazons. Its the fix from Myrdyr for the cloaks. It works wonders.

The silly grunting of the amazons created the silly lag I think.
