Cloaks

The thread's inevitable, may as well start it.

Masterwork leather cloak: Ugly brown, does not accessorize with my Lanceress's Spider Queen armor at all. Dyes only get the fringe. Brown + blue + red != good.

it does not only dye on the fringe..the cloaks are made up of more than 1 material, should try different dye...or......load up the toolset

When Bioware did this patch, the default color on all cloaks is brown until we specifically color it to be something else. I've already colored about a third of them, but doing the rest is going to take a bit of time. Probably sometime in the next day or two, all the cloaks that drop in the game will have some other color other than brown.

In the meantime, you can dye your own cloaks with dyes that drop in game.

Doc DuFresne has over a dozen dyes, and is willing to trade for reasonable rates. Track him down in game.

Do the guild colors show up on the cloaks if you get your cloak dyed by the guild hall dye merchant?

Wow 5 years to get cloaks that were in games before this came out.
Love em of course but DAOC spoiled cloaks for me.

At least they made a few different styles and many colors. It finally spices up character customization.
