I think every player with common sense wouldnt try to do such a thing, but there are a few or one player who loves to do it. Just because there is apparently a loophole in the rules. It would be nice if the responsible persons would give us players a final word about this habit. Is it allowed or not?

there are many loopholes in respawning...like, right now my assassin is laying dead in the FD respawn room because he took 4 crits on the respawn.

the respawn time is annoying. it allows a rogue to get cripple strikes in, or a mage a bigbys, or even barbarian rage paralysis. and if you are hunting a lowbie, you can lock them down and kill them before they get a chance to port.

it truly does suck and i wonder if this will be made into a no no for NS4 rules, going both ways...no attacking the respawner, no respawner attacking the killer before porting.

Taking any action while respawning is wrong, on either side. There are many times its accidental or AOO etc it happens. But to disarm, cast a spell or anything that causes permant damage (meaning when they rest after respawn its not gone) is not tolerated. The problem comes from things like stonehold or barbarian aura if someone doesnt wait until the spell expires its not the casters fault outside of a very few things its a big no no.

A pre-emptive answer for the lawyers no it is not specifically listed but what has been said a 100 times is use some common sense you cant tell me it seems ok to try and disarm etc someone during the 1 second while they are respawning flat footed and no buffs.

Played at different server and as soon as you hit respawn there is no 2 second delay--- u are there.

NS4 respawns this way because of the clean up scripts. you used to have to be alive to leave the area for the script to fire, not sure if it still has to be this way.

And DD there is a difference between mobs and players. If a player tries to abuse this loophole it isn't accepted just because no DMs wrote it is forbidden. Using the common sense sometimes helps a lot.

i was just letting you know why there was a rez then move in a respawn, instead of the move then rez. i know there is a loophole, i've been disarmed by beaten monk opponents that steal the weapon straight to their inventory.

The best is when you or someone else is killed and that dead person is hit during his or her respawn just at the right time and they come back to life right were they died with full health and no penalty

i have heard others... what your comment makes me think of is that either you are one of them butthurt socio-communist that where exiled during this time or your parents where and fed it to you thus realising your anger on me, which is a common thing they love to do them exiles. Now for the dissarming... i do it because it has benn done to me and not only by players but by sometime and quite long ago by dm player chars not gonna say who butthey know who they are ;p. attack on respawn and on respawning...

and lastly, i need no help mobbing. i normally get 4-8 levels on a good run... last night i got 4 lvls...
