New line of weapons and armor went in today:

Golden Mithril (+5 weapons and armor, level 25 and up)
Imbued Adamantine (+6 weapons and armor, level 30 and up)

These items should be dropping now off of planar mobs and bosses. [Created by Metis and entered into the database by yours truly.]

Alright, some pretty beefy updates today:

Additional New Lines of Gear:

Items added to go along with the Golden Mithril and Imbued Adamantine levels of weapons and armor that were put in last week.

Gloves, helms, boots, belts, amulets, cloaks, etc are now part of the planar random drops. These items are level 25 and level 30 minimums, respectively.

Planar Vendor:

A new vendor was put into the planes - along with a new randomized portal system to get there. Here's how it works:

- Several maps (2-3) in each plane have a spawn location for a portal that will take you to the vendor. These portals will always appear at the same location, but their spawn times are fairly random. Some will appear only in the day or night, some all the time, but they will all have a delay in their spawn times. Once you enter the map, they might take a few minutes to actually appear and once they do, they'll stay open for 1-3 minutes. To make camping these portals more difficult, there's a chance they won't spawn at all...
- Once you enter the planar vendor, you're given a Return Token. When you exit the planar vendor through the portal, the return token is used to send you back to where you came from.
- The portal entrances to the planar vendor I tried to put in 'logical' places. If you want to figure out where they are, think about where a planar vendor interested in commerce (or thievery) would want to put down a portal. In some places, I've added hints to where the portal might appear...

The planar vendor sells up to Imbued Mithril items and specializes in ammo and throwing weapons: he sells all ammo and throwing weapons that drop in the game.

Frostdale Vendor Changes:

Frostdale vendor now sells imbued mithril level of ammo and throwing weapons.

Creature Changes:

- Ice giant warrior and mendous had their CR's lowered to where they should have been.
- Dwarf home guards and goblins got slightly easier.
- Frozen Crypt mobs reduced in difficulty somewhat. Try them out and let us know how they are now.

Drop rates changes:
We're trying to tweak some of the planar mob drop rates to try and improve things some.

MA Jobs:
Improved removal of items when you finish jobs that should weather lag much better.

Planes creatures are now more likely to drop things like potions, scrolls and trap components than before. This does not make them less likely to drop other gear.

More changes today:

Frostdale Changes:
- All ferries to Frostdale require you to be level 10 or over for transport.
- CR of Arctic Wolves lowered to 10. (They were never meant to be a leveling ground, just a nuisance.)

Planar Creature Drops:
Hopefully improved gear drop frequency for most planar creatures some more.

Knock Spell:
Knock is no longer an auto-unlock spell. It tries to unlock the lock with a check of Number of Caster Levels + 20 + Spell Foci in Transumtation vs. the lock DC. It also should give a Open Lock boost to friendlies around you for a short while.

More Frostdale Changes:
Back by popular demand: Artic Wolves CR
However, Frostdale is now level 16 and up. If you're a lower level and already there, please leave.

New ferry added:
- Ferry added that goes from Falme to Haddon Mirk to Highlands

Bindpoint changes:
- You can now bind at your allies bind points (so, NC at TC, RK at AO, etc)
- Li'norala, Angmar Oasis, and Western Slope bind points now should be neutral (if they weren't already)

Creature changes:
- CR raised on most Shadow Plane mobs a notch
- CR raised a notch on dwarf home goblinoids
- Some heals removed from Dwarf Home guards

Planar vendor portal:
- Portal to the planar vendor (actually the return) should hopefully remove your planar token a little better now. Also, planar token is non-drop.

- Ice Trolls now accessible again off of Frozen Reach

New areas in today:

Ash Mountain Revamp, stage 1
Mezzoloth Caves:
- Two new large areas put in off of Ash Mountain
- Mezzoloth mobs (CR 11-17, an alternative to Giant Mountain)
- Mobs around Ash Mountain increased in spawn rate and reorganized
- Cheaper transport to Western Slope is in the works (currently Dragon transport takes you there for 12k gold at level 9 and above). Old Wyrm Road tweaking hopefully coming soon too. CR of creatures around Ash Mountain is now between 6-17.

Western Slope sprucing:
- A store and a vendor added to Western slope, along with the bind point there. This is right off the new areas.

Epic Item Fixes:
- All Golden Mithril and Imbued Adamantine weapons mistakenly had a Attack Bonus on them instead of an Enhancement Bonus. This has now been fixed. Apologies for the quality control on our part...
- Two handed epic items that had multiple Damage Bonuses and Massive Critical entries weren't stacking. These weapons are now fixed (and are much better :D )

Red Vs Blue - Neversummers first gambling pit!

- A place for a fun DM events, more info coming soon.

Arena - A general Gladiator Arena area for private battles or DM events.
Talos - God of Rebellion.

You should now be able to use the items you have crafted even if the level restriction is higher then your level. This only apply to the crafter and the items he made, any other players still falls under normal level restriction.

- Original style true seeing removed from Epic Dragon Knight. They were given a bump on their spot and ability to cast NS4 true seeing.

- Celestial Chicken! Everyone’s favorite it won’t sit there using rage forever so it should be more useful to the level 1’s.

- Mezzoloths tweaked.

New Transitions for RK and TC/NC:

- The Pech (an ancient Earth dwelling race friendly to the dwarves) has constructed two magical tunnels located in the Dwarf Stronghold: Upper area. One tunnel leads to the Black Hills and the other leads to the Ancient Road. They are useable only by those in the RK Faction.

- The Fey have completed work on a magical portal that connects the Fey Queen's chambers in the Crevasse in NC territory with a magical portal just outside of Melencia, tucked back in the canyon. This portal is only usable if you are allied to the other faction (ie, a TC member may use it if they're still allied to NC and vice versa).

Some spawn changes in 3 Ash mountains areas. Demons removed.
More mezzos added.

Reports from Wyrm road indicate increased Dragon sightings as well.

Silver Road - Ash Mountains has been changed as well. Many mezo scout sightings.

- Divine might: damage cap raised from 10 to 20 for Paladin and Champion of Torm only, remains at 10 for all others.

- Magic missle: maximum number of missles raised from 5 to 10

- Firebrand: cap raised from 15 to 20 (so at lvl 20 they do 20d6 instead of 15d6)
