Considering a build here, comments and suggestions welcome.
I made this using the CBC by Kamiryn, and was wondering if this would be any good. Completely naked, this would have an AC of 34 and an BAB of 36. Give it an Ice Amulet, a good robe, and some good boots, and that jumps no about mid 40's for the AC. Though the CBC doesnt say this anywhere that I looked, I think this build could get around 10 to 11 attacks per round, maybe 12 with flurry on.
Like the topic says, comments and suggestions are welcome.
P.S.
This is the first multi-class build I have ever devised, so keep that in mind if you decide to flame me XD.

"I can't make anymore new items for 24hours since the box ate my new boots." ~ Mloki

One of my favorite builds.
First tip would be to make it an earth gen for an extra 7 ac and huge dmg reduction at the end.
Also I wouldnt do any str excet to carry with and I would do around 15 base wis and max dex to 30+
When you can take blinding speed becuase it is a 10 minute haste that gives +1 ab and +4 dodge ac giving yo a total of +11 ac with earth gen that stacks on anything.
You get 7 attacks +1 from flurry. The most in the game. I would also focus some on unarmed incase the mob is highly resistant to kamas, and because a lvl 10-12 monk gets like 1d20 dmg with hands or something.
Focus on getting ab as high as possible as you wont do as much dmg as others but the ginsu effect of that many attacks is fun. You also get knockdown so you may consider dumping fighter all together and going with rogue for sneak damage after that knockdown. It is very nasty.
If you are going to use kama then you only need to take monk to lvl 8 - 9 to get evasion unless you just want speed.
It would be better to take the rest of the levels in WM and rogue. WM for feats for bab and rogue for damage, critical strike at lvl 10 and if you take it high enough to get defensive roll you can get epic dodge later.
Have fun.

Much like a build I am working on, I even took the 4 levels of fighter for Weapon Specialization: Kama. But I didn't go with the WM because I wanted the speed. Also took dex up to 25 for blinding speed, and since my dex ended up so high I took Weapon Finesse to use dex for AB at 3rd lvl.
Whirlwind attack, imho, is going to be a little ho-hum if you can't get your AB up a little higher. I've taken it before and I just end up missing everyone. Also, Whirlwind is useful in PvM...but not so helpful in PVP.
Oh, and with more monk levels in place of the WM, you end up with Empty Body (50% conceal)...VERY useful.
I forget what level you get Perfect Self at, but it comes in handy, too.
A quick question of my own: Can I take just 1 level of a non PrC?

don't fill all your skills max at lvl 1...wait until lvl 2 before maxing some of them. it will still be the same amount of points, but if you have more than 4? skills when you first create a char then it makes it invalid. just get needed skills like disc and tumble then use the rest at lvl 2.
and you can still take just 1 lvl of a non PrC if its not pally or monk as long as you do it by lvl 20.

I'm not sure about this one, I've never had a problem dumping 4 pts into 6 or 7 skills (ie: for a shadowdancer or bard build) on first level...Death Dealer1 wrote:don't fill all your skills max at lvl 1...wait until lvl 2 before maxing some of them. it will still be the same amount of points, but if you have more than 4? skills when you first create a char then it makes it invalid. just get needed skills like disc and tumble then use the rest at lvl 2.

Also, with this build as-is, I don't really see why more than 7 levels of WM would be useful, if you're only going for kama focus, then i'd throw in as many monk levels as you can because your speed increases by 10% at monk level 21,24,27,30,33,36 and 39... and your AC increases by +1 every 5 monk levels. Also, if you're going with dex for ab, then it would be advisible to fit a few rogue levels in to keep your dex/dodge AC in all situations - but then you lose an attack and some ab..so it's the offense vs. defense balance you should decide on before-hand.
1. isn't it +9 ac nat. at level 40? +7 is supposed to be 30-39...DeputyDawwwg wrote:1.first tip would be to make it an earth gen for an extra 7 ac and huge dmg reduction at the end.

2.except that you'll get kd'd easier due to lower adjusted discipline, and easily crippled by BB since it ignores SR, but other than that...decent.
3.OMG! I am gonna make a dex build now - bioware haste woot! But again, not sure if you're correct about the earth gen AC... from my own tests (pre and post wipe) the earth gen AC does NOT stack with natural AC amulets... so the effect is not as dramatic as it could/should be.
4.not the most.. what if you have a bab of at least 16 by 20, dual kamas (or kama and other offhand) with improved 2-weapon fighting? that gives 6 attacks on the main hand and 2 off-hand, plus flurry... 9 attacks. Then maybe with bioware haste or divine power that could hit 10.

Crazyj, is it another bioware bug that the sheet shows 6 attacks on the main hand? I had this ranger/monk/SD build with 8 attacks before the wipe:CrazyJ wrote:Celorn, Main hand with Kama is capped at 5 attacks. I have a dual-wielding Monk/Ftr/WM (Kama Kaze, you may have seen him). 5 + 2 attacks + 1 from flurry. BAB was 19 at level 20.

In case you can't see the SS -- my toon was running around with 6 main hand attacks:
Storm Kama
+41/+38/+35/+32/+29/+26
and 2 more off-hand:
Storm Kama
+41/+38

Ok just tested all this
Did a 20 wm, 11 rogue 9 monk With max dex and 16 wis and 16 int.
Earth gen ac does not stack on top of amulet nat ac. Its combined +9 max. That and the damage reduction is pretty good.
Celorn has the right amount of attacks. 8 + flurry on the char sheet.
Kama spec.
Monk to lvl 9 for imp evasion for free.
Rogue to 10 for defensive roll. I should have gone to 14 to get crippling strike but oh well.
Epic dodge at lvl 39 after the imp evasion and def roll are satisfied.
Ac is huge with blinding speed going. Lemme do a screen shot to show.
Its a fun build. What I might change is less wm and more monk, not sure if the ab will change but the speed will and empty body would be the icing on the cake.
Of note. there are only 2 +4 kamas in the game. nothing better.
If you do unarmed you get 2 less attacks but you get fists of poseden or other gloves that are +6 and alot more dmg bonuses + you wopuld be 1d20 and +whatever enhance if you took more monk.
The problem is that you need 2 damage types in this game.
Kama as main and hands as secondary work well. Not sure about the other way around.

he was counting dropped elemental damage kamas...only a few of them on the server.
i went thru 5 rogue chars before i discovered that you can't put skill pts into whatever you want at 1st lvl. besides its not horrible advice to say wait until lvl 2 to make your skill pt dump as your first lvl your going to suck anyway.

You do actually need the 19 BAB to get the 6 attacks in the main hand. That means taking no more then 4 monk levels before 20th. I would consider Ranger10/Monk3/WM7 or Fighter7/Monk3/WM10 to get this attack bonus. With the Ranger version you get the 2-weapon fighting for free and the limitations on light armor aren't a factor. You also get the best of WM within the first 20. In the Fighter version you can add extra damage from Weapon Specialization and still have enough extra feats to start taking WM by 6th level. Obviously a Dex build is the best way to go and after 20 you can either pump WM for the higher attack bonus or Monk for the extra speed and abilities.
MLoki
and btw... it's actaully not that bad in epic swarms iif you are a WM and it is a prerequisite for WM anyways.
