corrupted loggin

Ok i have sent pm's to flailer who past on to zing an i sent an update to zing, been 4 or 5 days now and i got some help from matis last nite

My toon pink dd is invalid for some reason matis tried porting it to different locations many times but all to no avail and i know depdog tried de lvling her as well.

all started when i deleted a toon and it took another then my mule was back in the rift with no gear on it , then the toon i was supposed to have deleted was still in toon list and upon log in cut scene played again and it was deleted this time.

last nite i made another mule with a completeley diff name , btw as far as i can tell i followed zings naming guide with all toons involved. just now i got to log in my mule and guess what ? yep despite making a SL toon running it to AV binding resting and logging off where is my mule now ?? Garaoth , starting location house thing.

I really dont know WTF is going on but the whole username is corrupted and i will not be making anymore use of it i would appreciate a dm contacting me via a pm or this post to see if i can have pink rebuilt as she was invalidated through no fault of my own ty

P.S dont ever delete toons it screws everything !

i have deleted toons, and have yet to have a problem, but now that my account is established, i wount take the risk either, just because i dont want one of my lvl 37's poofing on me...i have heard ppl have the wrong toon deleted when deleting, one thing i have tried to avoid is deleting when the server is full / and/or laggy..

The deletion devil/angel has been in for a long time and it works. On the very rare occasions something does go wrong the staff has always been very supportive. Everything cant always be perfect so thats why we are here but I strongly disagree with recommending people dont delete their characters if they arnt using them. One of the nice perks of the wipe was clearing a ton of room on the server of an insane amount of unused characters.

lol, telling ppl not to delete their characters because of 1 mishap is like slipping in the tub and then telling everyone to never take a shower because it is dangerous =P

1 mishap ? there were at least 3 just there, as i said it is my experience it just aint worth it!

But hey if ppl wanna take the risk , go right ahead ive heard other ppl have had massive problems as well so it certainly aint 1 mishap :_()

Your support is appreciated since hundreds of characters have been deleted the very few problems due to lag/server full issues on individuals has always been corrected. Your unusual problem is being looked at and we are working to not only help you but make sure it doesnt happen again.

Once again thanks for the positive reply it makes me happy knowing I stopped my time playing to spend an hour trying help is appreciated, thread locked.

I'm sorry it takes me a few days to get around to helping with this kind of thing these days, but rl is one of those things that needs attention in large portions.

I hope to have corrected this problem now. Apologies for the inconvienence.
