Spell Questions

Post by PeregrineV »

I have a few spell questions.

1. Why is Stoneskin Abjuration school and Greater Stoneskin is Transmutation?

2. Healing spells are Conjuration school. If clerics have the Healing domain, the "healing" series of spells are considered empowered. Does Conjuration Focus and Greater Conjuration Focus feats further improve the healing spells?

3. In the wiki under Cure Minor Wounds, it mentions that due to customization of NS4, that the Transmutation school will improve the output of the spell. Is this true, or a typo? Does Transmutation Focus help healing instead of Conjuration Focus (question 2 above)?

4. If the healing spells are used as damaging spells against undead, do they damage the same empowered, etc. manner that they would heal? I noticed that the same spell will heal better than it damages. Is it empowered for the damaging part also?

5. The control Undead spell seems to be a mind-affecting spell, which the undead lately seeem to be immune to. Can anyone give me the logic behind this, or was this just a a bad spell(too powerful), or were these undead particularly immune to that spell?

Thanks!

Frozen Skeles are immune to Control Undead because they're immune to mind spells just like everything in FD.

No idea why.
