does a map in my head count? cuz i've already super mapped dwarves and earth plane. only places in either i haven't seen is the tower in earth plane and the gaurdhouse that i can't find the damn key. btw....fire is linked to the bottom of dwarves which empty's out in the same planar nexus of earth ;)
if i didn't do it...someone else would have.

I'm working on a plane map too. Plane of fire is finsihed, Dwarf home is only partial, earth isn't started and I haven't been to air yet.

I'd love to see who's bold enough to fully explore the new planar areas with such detailed notes along the way... a shiny new prize to whomever maps all the new planes first!

On your marks, get set, and go!
Ok here you are:

Plane of Fire:

Ragnar's Kin planes (Earth & Dwarf Home):

Plane of Air:

The maps do no include the NS or AO nexuses, the elemental boss areas or the moleman city. Their locations are marked on the map though.

Counting up the areas I've been to:

The Nexus: 3 areas
Plane of Fire: 5 areas
Plane of Air: 5 areas
Plane of Earth: 6 areas
Dwarf Home: 14 areas

Total: 33 areas

I also was in parties that killed the Lord of the Flames, Ragnar, Alzaara, the Mistress of the Skies, and the Emperor of Terra. I should also thank everyone who assissted my explorations, including: KingFatzo, Celorn, Holghask, Kanbyen, Denwego, MLoki, Poet, coreblue, Achellis_Hill, and anyone else who accompanied me up to the planes that I didn't list.

Heh...so lag, what you're saying is - we introduced 33 new areas and in less than a week you've been to all of them and beaten all the new bosses we introduced :-)

Is this some kind of challenge to the Devs? Because...you know...we'll bring it ;)

i beat your 2 biggest bosses in the dwarves alone...single handedly in the first day. me and another person beat down alzaara that same day. you guys have upgraded the fierceness at which they bring it...but we still beat them not too bad.

i would like to say something about your new goblins...they are way to hard for the lvls they are. at the same lvl i can kill dwarves by the pair i can't kill a goblin shaman in 1/4 the time. why are they so much more difficult than anything i've seen but bosses?
if i didn't do it...someone else would have.

something has got to be done about that incinerator :)

either lower his str to have a higher chance for a mage to bigby it

or at least raise its CR.

our party usually gets hit bad by that fella. 40+ str i believe? and with the harvester, this guy does awesome; if you're lucky, you'll get two crits too :P

Not solo, no. Nor without dying either, the groups I was in went through our share of raise scrolls, as well as Heal potions and Greater Restoration potions. And I didn't get any xps from the Earth or Air bosses because they had killed me, and I didn't get ressed in time. So yeah, the challenge was fairly well balanced. It also helped that on several trips I was with people who had been to some of the planes before and they gave us some good advice.

Also some of my explorations that I did solo were done with the use of lots of invisibility, and there's enough mobs up on the planes that had True Seeing that dropped Mords on me. Success was a matter of fighting smart, and moving quickly.

Well, IIRC he said he soloed the dwarf bosses with a Pale Munch-, err I mean Pale Master. :P Kind of hard for us people from the LA to do that. :D

I can attest to a solidly fortified PM having crap AB.
Mine is 29 right now and only has 34ab.
That's with top of the line gear. It might be bumped a bit if I can find some nice planar gear.

It's possible to build them with more, but they then end up taking as much dmg as everyone else just at a more linear rate.
