Crafting System
Crafting System
The crafting system maxes out at 20th lvl. I believe it would be great if we could some higher crafting lvls. Something like: 24 lvl (in required class) to become Legendary Artisan. Some people have gone to alot of time and effort building crafters. What do you guys think? &)

This would seem like a worthy effort. Now that we have gear designed for levels of 24+ , a crafting system that would cater to those levels would be cool.

the whole system seems to need a good going over the crafted weapons are sub par to store items i can understand this for lower levels but a crafted silvery whatnot should have more than just 1d6 mass crit. armor well i dont think that manny use or are happy with their armorers the helm is about the only somewhat worthwhile item in ths craft. the other crafts are better than thoes atleast but a serious revamp of the whole system is deffinatly needed.

The would definitely be one incentive for a Pure Class... Add levels to crafting that require level 40 in something.
A lot of work, but would be a definite incentive to go pure class, if the gear is good enough.
Removing the time limits between crafting levels and increasing the xp cost of crafting would be a concept to conisder as well. Especially once players enter epic levels and levelling becomes harder.

Crafting System
I personally thing that the legendary crafting idea is awesome. I also think that there should be bits and pieces of things that you could work together in order to make legendary items possibley. But of course make them super hard to get like on planes bosses or something and have it on a limited drop scale. The idea like set items but with pieces of things to make. Is that possible. IE golden helmet and the golden robe gives extra light bonus? or extra gold when sold? just ideas that I think would work.

Trogdorbob brought up a great point, have certain legendary crafted items require legendary materials. The stations where you craft have the basics for craftsmen and stuff, but for legendary craftsmen the materials in the Avendell shop just won't suffice. Like have some armor require dragon scales (helms too), a small/large shield require bark from a desolate tree in the wastes of an outer plane, or a gem for a ring.

I think it could work because as it sits you already have to seek out the forges that allow the high end crafting ability. So why not the legendary. Only certain classes again could do that. Probably certain races for perticular items as well. Over the course of a long period the item would become a reality and BAM UBER ITEM!!!!!
