LA Jobs
OK, this shouldnt require much scripting, so Im hoping it might could get done (but knowing you guys have a backlog a mile long, I know it probably wont).
Is it possible to add the goblin caves @ the crossroads to the 3 rd level of the LA guard job?
Also, if you could make a 4th level where you have to fight the goblin boss (tul'gik?) and make the reward the horn of NS instead of having it as a 3rd lvl prize.
this would make the quest a little better without needing too much in the way of new scripts.

Um actually, the goblins in the Warrens used to give job points for level 3 IIRC. For some reason, they don't any more, which kind of slows things down at the third job level for LA. It also doesn't help that the pickpockets and blackjacks for level 2 give the most points either.

Yeah, I know. It can take a while to level on the thieves. Their stealth abilities are no fun either, I've had trouble spotting them on newly made characters (about level 3 or so) with maximized ranks in both Listen and Spot.

LA messenger job is very tedious. Requires five trips each to South wall and for guard reports. It is also neccessary to wait between receiving assignments. How about having to get a report from some other locations. Evenshire and Falme are both LA territories. The messenger could get a report from the innkeeper in Evenshire and the ticket seller in Falme. Could even add a trip to Avendell, since anyone can go there LA would certainly have an informer there. Since these trips are longer the job points for completion could be increased.
Also, just finished MA jobs, definitely the best yet, Great!

I already suggested the exact same thing, but thanks for bringing it up. I think more suiting would be gather a report from that strange halfling guy known as Grimbrol "Timberlegs" Burrooke who resides in the tavern. Hes not the innkeeper nor the bartender, just some random guy who I think needs some bit of importance. Like the Sir Pepin of EvenshireCharles I wrote:LA messenger job is very tedious. Given that the only piece of good LA equipment loads there, I think most players know where that is.P. Fricebottle wrote: Falme would better have a report from that one weird guy in the Arcanum Sanctum (its the weird building with the force field door in Falme if ya don't know).
Half-Celestial Full Plate isn't really that good now that the level has been fixed. I can think of 2 suits of full plate for the same level that are better.

I suspect TC is next, to help encourage more people to play there. SL will probably be last, given the faction's popularity.

Well, that's possible, but look at the last two factions that got jobs: MA and RK, probably the two least played factions here. I think the devs are trying to give people a reason to actually play in the less popular faction, where SL taking a commanding lead with relic bonuses is already giving players plenty of incentive to go there.

m wondering how could SL be popular just because of relics?
when jobs started, the first real factions to actually have jobs where the popular ones so that there'd be an adequate populace to commit to jobs and test them - this was LA and AO. if u believe SL is popular, then they should be given jobs too.
the point here isn't a matter of guessing who or what faction next gets the jobs. its much more a matter of working with the devs to help them fulfill better player experience with jobs
- reporting lag issues that can cause job exploits
- appearances of npcs that support the job framework (we had examples of this such as ppl working with those mephits, or that queen beetle)
- grammar corrections on dialogues
- etc.
