Can anybody explain to me why you are limited to one prestige class and why there isn't anything obvious warning new players that this is the case (before they spend 3wks on a toon that is now screwed up)? I've never actually even heard it suggested that prestige classes be limited, seems a bit odd to me.

hmm, a lot of those builds include SD's... imagine that. Too bad that HIPS abuse is such a problem. I was hoping to do a 26bard/4BG/10RDD. I thought I actually had an intelligent build idea with no cheese involved but guess I'll delete the 18lvls of that one I've got. Any chance I could get that xp applied to something else as a favor? It's all prolly scripted in so I doubt an exception would be allowed???
I don't see how most of them are any worse than a Cleric/Monk/SD spamming implosions from HIPS and abusing divine power and KD's.
A Wiz/SD vs Wiz/PM/SD can auto-dispel (mord disj) and bigby anybody. Taking PM levels just makes your DC's worse.
A rogue/SD is nearly as bad as a rogue/assassin/SD only difference is assassins kinda suck. Maybe death attack is actually good here tho since freedom isn't abused.
Rogue/fighter/SD is basically a Rogue/WM/SD except it has more feats to work with, just takes a couple more hits.
Druid/Shifter/SD, well that one is pretty good but you still don't allow those to have dragon shape.
Bard/AA/SD isn't all that great anyways.
Bard/WM/RDD ain't bad but again a Bard/Fighter/RDD works just as well with the weap spec. and extra feats for stuff like imp disarm and imp KD.
Monk/Assassin/SD vs Monk/Rogue/SD... either death attack or stunning fist to do the same thing, otherwise about identical.
Bard/PM/RDD I don't like how good this build is anywhere I've played.
Bard/CoT/RDD isn't bad but wouldn't work with factions anyway.
Bard/SD/PM ain't bad but has issues actually doing dmg.
Wiz/WM/SD now there's a thought, I haven't ever tried something like that. Wiz/Assassin/SD is a better combination with GS, true strike and high int to boost your death attack DC's I think.
Except for a select few combinations I don't really see fully how these builds are any worse than what is already there.
