start with 18 wis...rest is up to you dont really matter...take some int for skills and cha if ya wanna cast higher lvl bard spells

put all 10 lvl pts into wis

pre-epic feats--take curse song and extend spell...rest is up to you dont really matter

Edit: forgot about blind-fight...thats pretty much a must-have and improved critical: unarmed translates but you get that for free from maha robes

epic--take first 4 greater wis..this will get you dragon shape at 33. after that make sure you take lasting inspiration, armor skin, and epic prowess

dunno about east but this toon on west can go anywhere alone

For this build, what level 1 gear would you recommend? As well, what gear once you hit level 18? Also, note the fact it requires an alignment change.

i'm lazy and generally just put enslaved stuff and a mithral quickblade on new toons...that'll work fine to start off with.

at 18 i'd add some giant gear (belt, robe, cloak) for the resists

the quickblade will easily vorp you to 40 and then you can go to ec at your leisure and gather yourself the ns gear.

and yes gotta hit the cave for an alignment change

Hmm. Funny that the vorpal on a number of other high end weapons hasn't been found.

Quick question before I go off attempting the bard/druid dragon: Is NS's Dragon Shape customized to include all items, or just armor as with Bioware's Dragon Shape scripting?

It merges all your items.

Dragonshape's also got a nifty "On Shift: Make Fang Cry" effect that's quite nice.

Additional question, what race was for Zarach's dragon? I'm assuming human since STR/DEX/CON is fixed for dragons unless NS changed it.

human is always a good choice..more skill points and either no xp penalty or not til last few levels generally

I have a builid I've been working on, seems it not new but everyone and their grandma has some kind of DD build.

Anyhoo, 7 Fighter, 7 WM, and 26 DD. At present I don't recall the starting stats but I had 18 con, BASE. Plan was to use 2 attribute ups for con so can get the epic dmg reduction feats. No extra dex needed though I think I had 15 for PrC reqs as well as about 14 int (for same reason).

Rex reborn took Waraxe over Scimitar. Scimitars/Kukri have excellent crit range. Still AXES are a dwarfs favorite. No girly elf weapons.

The whole idea is a well rounded melee type who could take a beating (tank) as well as give one.

and if you want a rogue that can pick locks fargo blake try a 29 rogue 1 wiz 10 aa and just use a bow truely a nice build you get sneak attack with a bow and your ab will be high and when you level up just max tumble hide move silent open locks and disable traps
