problem with character login

I have been having a consistent problem with one of my characters when I attempt to login. I am able to log in with other characters however when I try to load this one I get this error message:

I know this usually happens with bad memory modules, but I tried other characters just to be sure and I've had no problems. Is there any way to fix this or should I just abandon this character?

load a charactor that works,
turn all video options check boxes off,
reduce all video option sliders to minimum
reduce resolution to minimum
save the charactor
exit the game
load problematic charactor
repost here with the results

Have you run memtest overnight on your computer? Looks like a bad dimm. There are other possible issues too but I would test the dimms 1st.

What Red-Mane said, that and make sure to turn shiny water off. Its a bioware problem that has been ongoing for some time and they are just too lazy to fix.

I notice shiny water makes certain things viewable through the fog.
I bet it's an issue with them messing with the fog and taking it out of the executable, messed up other things when they did that.

Thanks all I fixed the issue, I didn't realize I had the shiny water enabled (probably shouldn't be with my graphics card).

You know, I think I'm glad I can't even activate shiny water. With all the trouble it cuases, sounds like it's not worth it.
