Sorry discard all the information i gave you i guess, according to Iris my directions are completely off. I have a way of simplifying things. And just for the record I took a lengthy vacation and haven't been to LP in quite a while. So its not my fault, my minds map of NS has been very cloudy lately.
This is the path I walk.

Did I read the word "map"??? Could there actually be such a creature?

Directions in Neversummer? They're usually things like "follow north-ish"... "southwest corner of the map" and "I'll take the right side" right? what's right? right of what?

Directions.. in NS.. HA! Dont trust your mind when it comes to directions, it can be evil

I was not picking on your directions hun :( I just remembered the very first time I went to the Lost Paradise, and those "few areas that are really easy to navigate" caused me to die over and over again at the hands of that Harmful Spell because the ends have ways of porting you back to places you wont even recognize within the same map

Deja, how many times do I have to remind you? Your other right!!

Oh!, btw.. Grimmiehs Directions are the best!, I have been a victim of them

Thanks for the laugh this morning guys :)

Bah, I just stumbled my way to LP last night at level 22. Did quite well as well. Just dont stop to enjoy any of the scenery, it can be quite...prickly, and implodey, and harmful, and slashy, and well..just keep runnin. Generally try to get to the other side of the map you start on and you will be ok.

My gimped up Directions to LP would be:
Goto Nexus --> Dragon Realm -->that other dragon area with the sky minions, take the bridge exit from that board, then run run run past all of the dragons and Dragon Disciples basically you just go as far from where you started and that is the right way to go, I know the final exit to LP was in the NW corner, though I can't remember if there were 2 screens of Dragons and Half Dragons to run past (I think there were though)

Pretty easy run. Then you are in the wonderful world of Gimp...I mean Imps. They can hit for 70 or so with some ranged attack (or spell, or something) and get you down low on HP, so have some heals handy. Generally, they are not much of a threat though. Providing, of course, you are properly equipped.

Must haves for surviving LP:

Acid/elect/cold immunes or really good saves
Knockdown immune
Death magic immune
Mind spells immune
Decent will
Decent fort
Slashing resist
+5/25 soak or greater
AB of 34 or greater
AC of 50 or greater

A full NS set is always handy. So is the ability to cast "darkness", as they don't have ultravision.
