Brawler's Waraxe...
Hello all!
Recently I was venturing through an EC run, helping out some players who needed to get to EC. The only thing I asked was to stop in the minotaur area and kill all the minotaurs. Hoping that the Brawler's Waraxe would drop...
Well it did..TWICE!!!!!!
Since no one wanted the other, I took them both.
With that in mind I started to develop an idea on a WM Str build (seemed appropriate!). Well to my surprise, you cannot take Waraxe as a specialization (not even as a Focus!)...they don't even have Waraxe as an option...!
By the time I realised this (figuring that it was still a Battle Axe with a NASTY edge), it was to late...I had already taken my Feats for Battle Axe. If possible...can it still be classified as a Battle Axe? Sorta defeats the purpose in being able to use it to its fullest potential.
It is a great weapon (and I am dual wielding it too!...with most encounters), but once again..no way can I get FEATs to increase its functionality!

I've not seen one yet so can't comment as to the accuracy of what I'm about to post (and I'm dredging my memory a little). But there is no waraxe option, however there is a Dwarven Waraxe option to specialise in. If thats what you mean i believe you need to take the exotic weapon feat too (someone correct me if I'm completely off the mark).

Yah..just looked it up in my NWN Grimoire...and you are correct..there is a Dwarven Waraxe in the Exotic Weapons...ah well!
Next time around I will build with the Exotic weapons first, before I get to WM lvls...
Thanks for the info...
(still LOTS to learn about the game! And I have been playing it for several years now!!..lol!)

TY!
Thanks for all the replies!
I restarted my Build, with Dwarven Waraxe as my focus! So far so good!
Hit 13th lvl before I had to log (darn thing called sleep!). But reviewing my Build sheet from the previous build, I am already improving on the build!
Yep...the Balrog does drop a NICE whip..and there is one also in Twilight area. Actually there are a few really nice whips produced by the Dev's...just have to look around a bit.

Indiana Bovine is a WM specializing in whips. All kinds of fun... but lacking in the deparment on intermeddiate whips...

Actually, there is a new whip that drops somewhere in the Mithral Mines. I believe it is 18th level or higher, but not sure. The Balrog drops it at the end.
