Something other than helms

Is there anyway that we could have something other than helm that cover our head. Like circlets or bands. They don't need to show up on the toon but can give the buffs to it.
Just seeing all these toons running around with robes and helms on is just weird sometimes.
just a thought.

I'm not aware of any item such as a band available in the standard toolset. Without that, it would be almost imposible to do this, although I agree it would be SWEET.

there are circlets in the toolset that function as helm items but do not cover the head of the toon in the graphic model. They let everyone see your beautiful face!

I also agree that it would be nice for a few of these to be floating around...

I would also love some sort of helm that allows the face & hair to show.

Also, is there an NPC that will modify helms, I don't see helms as one of the choices in Crafting menu though I have seen it as an option in other mods. Is player armorcrafting the only way to modify body armor styles or is there any NPC that does this for a fee? And is it even possible to meet the DC checks given the "highend" gear on this server?

Forge... unless you are using CEP, I think you haven't actually looked at the "circlets" they are in fact, helmets and as such cover the whole head.

Wow... I apologize everyone. I could have SWORN that while playing through HotU, I found an item that functioned like I described. However, after going through the item list, I'm forced to admit that is doesn't exist.

Rong, you are wrong (Hehe). I have in fact created a "helmetless helmet" that gives you the benefits of your helmet, but still shows your ugly mug. The real questin is, will it ever get included in NS 3.5 (I'm not a dev here after all)
