Sequencer Staff Info

So I got my awesome sequencer staff last night and spent several minutes trying to get spells on it to work. After being asked to move out of the boss room to do this, I travelled to NeverSummer to further my studies, after about an hour or so, I bestow the following information to the rest of the citizens of NeverSummer...

-Any level of spells can be placed on the staff.
-Any spell type can be used (Wizard, Paladin, Druid, Cleric, etc)
-Spells used cannot be an attack spell
-Spells cannot be used on others
-Either cast a spell on the staff or right click the spell from the staff while equipped
-Mords Disjunction doesn't work, so do try it heh.
-Yes, you can use a scroll to charge the staff.
-The spells cannot be Maximized, extended, etc.

It works exactly like sequencer robes from the standard content. Spells cast on it may only target the caster, and the level they are cast at is the same as the base level for the spell (If it is a wizard/sorc 3 spell then it is cast at third level)
On a side note, it seems that sequencers do sometimes bug and store the spell at the level the caster was when casting it... but not through server resets. (Bovine)

In a nutshell, if it doesn't act like a "buff" type spell, chances are it wont take.

Thanks for posting the results of your research. It's a big help.
I wonder if the staff will "absorb" spells enhanced by metamagic feats and keep the metamagic enhancements, though? For example, say I cast an extended Bless spell on the staff, would the Bless still be extended when used from the staff?
Please let us know if you have time, otherwise, I'll just experiment on my own.

That I do not know... at the time of testing I didn't have any "buff" type spells, only offensive that metamagic could be used on.

I will try when I get home today from work and update the first post.

Can this info be included in a FAQ or something? I do not think it contains enough info to sticky, but should be archived in the least i think.
