RP vs PK

Ok .....

Im not sure who out there knows kst as what we were and are now.

We were jerks. Pking people for no reason Disarming level draining and such. And we killed lobies and took over areas and it was fun for us.

People whined and complained cause we didnt break any rules so they couldnt get us kicked out or banned or whatever. So what ......

Then WE decide to change for the better of the server. We stop Pking people randomly we RP alot more even to where we were friends with enimy faction members. And we gave people gear up held truces and RPed everything out.....

Well i guess we are not wanted as rpers and we never have changed "According to your favorite leader or {FoN} which by the way was such a weak guild they NEVER got a house" .

So since we havent changed i am warning everyone that the old kst is comming back. No more being nice or showing mercy. And if you dont like it too bad. And if you feel then Need you can ban me or whatever but i personally ( cant speak too much for other guild mates since i dont want to offend anyone with things they have said ) am sick of trying to make a server better place when all we get is grief for it.

Hell if were going to get grief for being jerks and grief for being nice then .... ill be a jerk since its funner for me.

Apparently everyone just loks out for there own fun now.....

Such a shame KsT was doing so well. Well do as you want Havok, after all I did boot you out for a second. All I can say is this, no matter what anyone does breaking the rules the language you chose was wrong. I have no tolerance for it, if anyone goes beyond the rules and ruins someone elses fun I will be there as soon as I can but you cannot always expect a DM to be right beside you. Take a ss use the DM channel and they will be dealt with, although it may not be that very second, but like I said no tolerance for that.

In case you ask, no I will not post what you said here it is not appropriate.

this is not because he was booted, its because people will cuss us out, greive us on shout and tells, when we PK them in an RPed way, not a random thing... like sirus told me, he found som1, he told him to Bow before the dragonkin or die, then told him if he didnt bowed in 10 seconds he would kill im, he didnt bow, sirus PKed him... what did he so? the PKee cam out on shout and tells grieving, plus it was also a faction kill... WHY do people whine and whine and whine some more when they get pkd? why do they even come to a faction server... they KNOW there are enemyes as listed in the player list... and yet, when they are told to bow down before a n enemy or die, they do nothing/try to run/defy us, then whine when they get PKed...

we are just getting tired of it... we get the same lip when we where not RPing the kills and going out killing people randomly... most people in this server are jerks... we try to help, and what do we git... grief.. and to all you guys thinking this is a whine... i dont really care... you can keep your comments to yourself and go do something else. we ignored our PK list, we stopped hunting logins, we changed so much for you guys to treat us the same... if you post here some reply that 'waaa waa stop whining' kind of thing, be sure i'll be on your case and hunt you down like the little ... that you are! i'm really sick of it too...

this is not about new players... they havent seen the diff... celorn has seen it... many old players have noticed... its mostly a select few and the ones that dont understand what a Faction separated world is about that get on us and WONT stop grieving... u got pked get over it, u cant hold what you talk, u got pked. shutup and learn!

to all the whiners that whine because u got pked in your city at low level... get used to it now with the relics... because u'll see more higher levels coming in and cleaning out, and more oftern too... so stop whining and take it like u mean it...

Sorry but I just have to post some SS of "so called whining" As you can see it was Havok that was whining cause he got owned not me .. I'll be sure to blur out the offensive language they used.

WOW, a couple of nice screen shots there

well all i can say is to u kromix i pkd u 3 times in a row at ice giant entrance and u started whining to me about going on shout to tell everyone lol, by the way u returned 3 times to die.

when u sent the tell you said i was basically a [censored] cat yet when i told u everytime im on im killing kst of any lvl u say to me but but i havent shouted out in over a week

which of course you had!

you cant have it both ways you live by the sword then you die by it - yes? the only problems i can see is that

1. havok at least admits you guys play like jerks.
2. most ppl dont like jerks.
3. you dont like the fact ppl dont like you.
4. you are the ones that need to get over it - play like that the only ppl that will like you (in the game) are fellow faction members of which i believe i regularly see about 4 or 5 - how many ppl play on here again?

personally, i think get more tired of when you guys were spamming shout with something dumb for 20mins then they ever did with you killing everyone. i know i kill ppl randomly when i'm in the mood and no one really ever gives me crap.

Secondly Milkman you used to be one of us so ill let you slide but you get owned on a regular basis and the time your refering of i logged out to check your level and sureenough you were like 6 levels above him..........and were jerks cause of people like trent.

And finnally you know we have no beef with you DD and accually i was going to use yours as an example...... he is right they dont get grief .... so y is it when i pk someone and i shut up and say nothing y is it the person still whines like a baby??? is it the kst tag??? is it you are so freaking weak that you have to whine in retaliation since you cant kill us??

OK, perhaps a little outside perspective. If it comes out wrong, please dont take it personally.

1: It took time to build up the reputation that your guild currently enjoys, it will take more time at making the effort to change that opinion of your fellow players. People will remember being put down alot longer than they will remember being helped.

2: What happens here on the forums will also shade peoples opinions in game. Fact of life I cant do anything about it. If a single person with the guild tag says something to get people spun up on the forums, all people will remember is that it came from that guild.

3: There will always be people who whine and complain, regardless of what ever server you are on. Its another of those annoying facts that we can do very little about. Something that has been noticed, if the whiners are unilaterally ignored on a constant basis, they usually either shut up or go away.

As a DM and player I have appreciated the effort your guild has been making recently in being part of the community in such a way as to add to the world instead of just doing things in the world for no other reason than you can. I realize that working to change other peoples perspective of you is frustrating at best most of the time. I would just like you to know, even if it doesnt get commented on, it does get noticed.

Hmm, that was a classy response. If you didn't care what people think why post in the first place. The purpose of a community forum is for public discussion. If you don't want people to discuss your views you should have kept your thoughts to yourself.

No what this pertains too is when you do something you whine about on the forums that we do its ok ... and that goes for everyone...If youfeel like disarming then its ok but when we do it people complain... thats just an example ..

Basicly tren twhen you stop doing all this crap you bash us for then mabey ill listen to your nonresponsive heap of matter we have to by all technicalities call a brain

till then shut up you do just as much as we do on a more consistant basis

OK I tried to be productive and defuse parts of this, but its turning back into flames again. And not just Havok doing it either. So for all of you, I am locking this thread and will just delete any other threads that start up that mirror this and the others like it.

Everyone has had points in many of these threads, but if we cant learn to be polite and constructive I see no reason to let these things continue.
