Could someone please tell me the process for taking screen shots?

If you're using Windows, just hit the Prt Scrn button on your keyboard. It'll save ss in the main NWN directory as .tga files.

I tried uploading the screenshot i took of the night i was hit with 275 damage from a lvl 14 char, but its not uploading for some reason, plus i took more than 1 actually, so anyone have any idea how or what the problem may be?

I cannot upload this file type for some reason. Filoe type is TGA.

You can't upload files directly to the boards. You have to put the images on a remote server like ImageShack or Photobucket and link to them. Also, you probably have to convert the .tga to a file type like .jpg or .png first. Most photo editing software can do this.

You can however post them in PMs to one another and DMs. There are certain forums here that you can post them directly to.

Gadwick's Printscreen 3.0 is a nice program that will prtin screen and save it as any format you want to any folder you want, the only downside is that will minimize the game because it likes to after the SS but if you like playing windowed mode, it's a great program... Saves a lot o time and its FREE!!!

What about HyperSnapDX?!? that's by FAR the best SS program ever made!

It's super fast, saves in around 20 different picture formats, and with a few tweaks it will just save the pic (without flipping windows) with a sequential name in any folder you want.

Also there's FRAPS... does anyone use this? I had 1.6.? installed and it was working great, I could take screenshots and 30 fps MOVIES! But it started acting strange, so i installed 1.7.3 and now it won't even run.

But how cool would it be to capture movies, then dump all your PK or whatever clips into a video editor and then seam it together with your choice of music? People do that with WoW and tons of other games...

sorry bout the double shot, it wouldnt work at first, but this guy hit a 275 damage on my lvl 17 and he was lvl 14 monk

because its not possible for a lvl 14 monk to do 275pts of straight physical damage.

i have a lvl 36 rogue that max's out around 160pts damage on a sneak......does that set it in perspective?

the only person i have ever seen close to that was a WM cleric in Halbred with dark flame bless prayer and divine favor... and even then it was still maxed out at about 250ish

or at least that was all it took to take out my mage

I 've seen people end up with 100 str from a bug once .. maybe thats what that guy used
