Terminal and Trent got problems. Maybe they should go to another server where they can cry on each others shoulders. Later they can get banned from that one too. After that they can keep repeating the process of smarting off to DM's and then type long tirades on other servers forums.
And to all of similar ilk as them - I'm glad they're gone.

Fear not! Ive been perma banned from ns4 without notice, and even banned on the forums (although, not very well...) for asking on the bioware forums if it was legal to accept money for cash. Needless to say, im not playing here anymore even if i was unbanned. Ive put up with the abuse for far too long.

and you are damn right i "smarted off" to a dm. You would too if your character was deleveled for casting Darkness in avendell, the day after you were debuffed, attacked, drained, PPed in avendell.
You would too, if your character was banned for a rule that you had no idea existed.
You would too, if you got banned because the server script made your character attack the person who started attacking you.
Its not crying, its simply being pissed off for being mistreated. What i do in the realm has not changed in YEARS. It was considered fair and fun not too long ago... untill this rush of new players and 'donators' came and cried about me PKing them.
Hell, KST publicly admits, on this very board, that they PK any and everyone, regardless of level. They have a guild house! Their characters were releveled!
I got bans... delevels... kicks... threats... screw it. Its no longer worth my time. The only reason i "Cry" in here is because i do like the realm and wish it would improve instead of corode into what it is today. Anyways, i have to get up in the morning... So i'll leave it with this:

To anyone being offered DM in this realm, think twice, it might change you, or bring out parts of you others wont like, or just simply turn players against you for 'who knows why'. ether way... think twice.

Hey, I've been on other servers that the DM's killed you for their enjoyment and they didnt give you any reasons or even an apology. They also went as far as to frag you on the boards and then edit your comments when you tried to explain what happened. So stop the wining.
Oh yeah, if you can get XP for a minor donation that will benefit all in the long run then so be it. I am all for it.
I understand that some will have uber characters and such but, there will always be uber characters harrasing others whom they cant otherwise defeat. Hey its just that way in life. Bullies will be bullies but, let that uber character get owned by a lower level and then they get upset and quit. So, Horay for us all. We got their donation and now we dont have to deal with them. Its a win win situation.
On that note, I am tryin to level as fast as I can and perhaps help in the culling of the fields myself. *Evil Laugh*
By the way, if they are still excepting donations; Have a DEV contact me ASAP! I will not make a level 40 character but, I do need to redo current character because of a minot build issue (I made a booboo!). Eh, it happens to the best of us from time to time.
To all the people who love playing, fighting and dying in NS4, Horray for you and All my best! To the Haters and winers, Good riddance!!!

WTF? .....Why are you attacking me? ... I'm no longer banned and I have never even seen you in-game ... Hell that was your first post and you come out talking crap? ... I have just made a choice not to play much anymore due to RL issues.
I also don't like where the mod is headed . All the new "hidden pvp rules" .. wtf is up with that? .. What brought me to this mod was the fact it had no such limitations on pvp. Thats what made this place great. Its kinda reminding me of the U.S .. Slowly losing its freedom.

We're in the process of reviewing and fleshing out the PvP rules to figure out where the current loopholes are and getting them published and more out in the open than they were. Hopefully this'll be done shortly.
And, PvP is definately here to stay - faction warfare is an integral part of what NS is and we like it that way.

Indeed the world does change, as does the aspects of a beta module as we work out not only the bugs but the rule set that best applies. All modules go through these revisions even after they are out of beta (this one is not) to deal with the changing aspecs of its player base.
The world and its player base are an ever changing environment, those who refuse to change aree bound to be left in the dust. As was pointed out about a long slump in the player base. Some view these changes as good/ some bad. There are no hidden rules everything that is applied can be tied right back to the FAQ or the commandments post. It is how these are interperated that causes the issues.
If a rule has gone for awhile without being enforced and it suddenly is again, this does not make it a new rule nor does it require us to say anything about it.
As for an Iron Clad statement of rules. The reason that one doesnt exist as it gives entirely to much room for those who see themselves as rules lawyers. Folks NS always has been and always will be enforced in the spirit of the law as interpreted by the DM team. These interperataions must and do change over time. Not to sound unreasonable, but the DMs are judge, jury, and executioner with no courts and very few appeals.
The rate of succesfull appeal to have a ruling from the DM in the field overturned is very very low. In 3+ years of DMing on every NS server that has existed in that time, just one has ever been overturned in my memory.
I have read that we have been enforcing non existant rules, to date though I have seen no examples of this that can not be answered in either the FAQ or Commandments threads. I'll be the first to admit that the DM team is a diverse group and some of us are more hard nosed about things than others, that what makes a good team, we each have strengths and weaknesses that compliment each other.
For now though, keep posting and complaining. We do listen even if we dont happen to respond in ways that each individual may like. If you happen to be one of those who can not or will not change with us ... first off you have no business being in a mod that makes no bones about its beta status, second you are in for along ride becuase before everything is said and done there will be alot more changes done. Not only to the mod itself but to the rules of the land and how they are applied.
