nomius is gone!

He got banned for mentioning that all of the rules are not listed on the website or module.

And he now makes home at Three Towns server, wich actualy has quests to keep him entertained, instead of DMs who harrass him.

Is it just me, or are alot of long time players dropping out for this same reason? *cough*willow

Three Towns eh? Thats a pretty fun server, used to play there for a while. Too low magical low, way too slow, and the quests only keep you entertained up to level 13. But there are more active guilds like an Exile Guild (oooh Nomius will love that one, when you join it everyone not an exile becomes hostile to you lol). As for the DM harrassment people mention, I don't mind it much. Just think of it as a god punishing you for doing evil (like Tyr, cheers). But it be nice to have some more active evil DMs that are against the good guys, they might be somewhere but I dunno...

i brought that up once...they thought being an overtly active evil god sending minions to stomp helm, tyr, and torms followers might not take off as that good of an idea.......i like it though.

I tried a little bit of TTT, but didn't like it. I though it was good that the start you out at level 4, but the server crashed or something, and my character got deleveled to level 1 and was stuck in the first town. As a result I have to face killing stuff for level 4 characters on a level 1 character with crappy starting items. I haven't returned to that server yet.

My first time to that server went like this:

I make a monk (stunning fist and don't need much gear)

walk out of the city area and attack a bandit...

a high level wizard in dragon form walks up to me and pk's me

~~

My second, and last time:

I fight some bandits.. all is good, except there are 10 other people doing the same, and the server land is pretty small (so i've heard from others) so it's crowded a lot..

I get bored cuz people are hogging XP and people did party with me and one nice guy gave me some gear, but it was higher lvl than I could use...

NS4 has been hitting the top of the NWN Action list every day lately, sometimes #1! What need is there to go anywhere else? ;]

Sweet! I have a 30th lev assassin build on 3T so I'll keep a look out for any log on name close to "terminal insanity" so I can PK you there too...

Yeah, I think the more players we have, the more we attract, and while the game is a little tough for first time players, we have good enough module that people keep coming back. The level of player interaction helps as well.

AH i hope you all read through this stuff on the external link terminal insanity wrote and all the replies it seems that its illegal for the donate get anything in return thing!!

so i guess there goes all of your lvl 40 bought characters!!

Why do you even care? bioware or any of them dont so whats your point? is it really that bad that some people help out? personally i couldnt afford to make a big donation but I am glad others do so that way I can keep coming back

3 Things here :

1. I dont care I have no problem with ppl donating money i just wanted to know if devs have read it about the lawyers talking to other servers that were doing it and the implications for here. The posts tho are clear that Bioware and Atari do care did u read the post from the bioware guy??

2. Why was my terminal Velocity username banned from this forum?? for that 1 post??? i am not terminal insanity if u r banning me because he has been permanantly banned youve got the wrong guy. Im sure there is a way you can check and see my posts are from and TerminalInsanity's are not from here.

3. What is a noob cake Kromix u old dog:) know who I am Now friend!!

screw nom....screw bioware.....we have to have devs to fix all their screw ups anyway.......just delete any evidence that donations ever occurred and be done with it. With all the lvl 40's i have seen, i am sure somebody has profitted.....plus i know they bought cheap hardware when the first 4 servers came out cause 2 broke. and what is it with all the posts getting locked? NAZI's i tell you....put on your gas masks and don't make eye contact.

kst....they sucked....havok sucked.....they whined and complained all the time....half are 12 year old cry babies. enough said.

Actually, i simply asked about how legal it was without saying what module it was about. It had nothing to do with me being banned, i posted it before i was banned. I asked because yes, i got sick of seeing lvl40s when its not possible to even make a lvl40 normaly. I was hoping to get bioware's call on the situation, so that DD could see for himself. But, alas he bans me.

The part where i actually link to this site came after i was banned for asking if it was legal.

If they want to punish me for my free speech, then i have no problem letting the cat out of the bag.

In response to Okie GET, screw me good! and, it would be fairly hard to do a coverup since all the donations went to "Mcever studios"... unless that also, is corrupt. They cant even keep the forums up to date, i doubt they will be able to pull off a coverup.
