Need character wipe!

To any and all DM's I wish to have both characters I have on the server wiped. I wish to reuse one of the names. They are both level 1 and should not be a problem. Unless I can get a stat change. I need only switch a couple selections in the build. I was on the right track just not completely accurate.

easiest way to remake with same name but an extra space between the names.

just a suggestion i don't think the DM's wipe chars..unless you were bad

Oh I can do bad!!!! I just would rather get around that part as its not what my character will be about.

At this point we dont do character wipes. Unlike a normal NWN server this mod is highly modified and there are db entries scattered all over the place for every character, they start when you first log in and it keeps getting worse from there.

At some point there may be well be a way for you to delete your characters yourself, for now though the dataase tools are not in place to do so. I and I think most people would prefer the devs work on getting us out of the beta state than work on extraneous bells and whistles.

Thanks TGPO and if I may inquire; Will there be a total server wipe once we do leave Beta???? It would be nice to start out on equal footing on a server for a change.

Probably, but some people have been thinking that a server wipe might not be even necessary once ns4 is out of BETA. You might want one since you haven't leveled any characters, but for those of us who spend much time leveling ours it would really suck to go from a level 30 to a level 1 (especially those who donated money which would go to waste if their characters were wiped).

Ahh, I agree with you there. I would not want to lose my hard work or donated gaines as that is what it was intended for (You to make a bigger and better contribution to the realm). Oh well, I would love to donate myself. I just need a little better footing and then I shall help the Dwarves rise again to the prominance they so deserve.

we already had a wipe once...everyone started over. its not as bad as you would think because you know where to go and what to do. i do believe if ns4 ever comes out of beta it was said there will be a wipe then..and no others unless something bad happened and we had to.

Well if we do have a wipe, i wouldnt like to see the ppl who donated lose their chars, but maybe give the ones who bought 40's extra lvls, like 20 maybe and the ones who paid less give them like 10 free lvls, This is just a suggestion tho in case there is a wipe.

Background: I have about 20 charactors in my log on, 5 are good, others are dead end builds, damaged by bad connections, damaged by logging in prefaction room, etc, etc.

Question: Can Charactors mbe moved to another LOGIN ID so I can start with a nice easy to read charactor listing... The number of times I have logged into my CDT charactors is frustraitingly high, I would be most greatful if this were possable

best result... take your good chars... write down the build, make a new vault, start again... xfer gear and gold...
