I chose Wild Elf with both of my characters so far and although the stat boost of +2 is supposed to apply to DEX and wis. it has been applied to CON and wis. The -2 to int and cha is fine.

Please advise if this is intentional or an error that will be corrected.

Take a look at the Elf opening paragraph, the generic one that covers the Elf grouping. That may explain what you are experiencing, it is working as intended I believe.
