Its great seeing people trying to get their guilds set up so it brought a question to mind. Invading a city does and should have risk to it but if you attack a city with your guild char get pk'd and loose your armor is there another option? I went into AO last night stopped by to say hello to Drakmarr and his mate and fiured if i was killed I would offer an exchange of the same armor w/o the dye coloring. i dont care about the item itself but i would hate to loose the dye and i definately wouldnt like to see someone wearing my guild colors when they are not a member.

Honestly its the tag that indicates the guild, the colors are a nicety the devs are tossing you. Soon following dyes will start showing up in drops as well, we will not be keeping the colors the guilds are using out of those drops, so it will be possible, intentionally or accidentally that someone could show up in your colors.
The DM team will enforce guild tags, i.e. wont allow non members to use characters tagged for guilds they dont belong to. The DMs wont however give a passing thought to enforcing a color scheme. If this seems unfair ... we can always drop the NPC that will do the colors.

In that case, the tag for the Brethren will be either Brother or Sister preceeding the toon name. If an LA toon is made with this sort of name, the toon will be given the opportunity to join the Brethren. Everyone else will be subject to DM enforcement.
donan: so wear non-dyed gear when raiding? probably stoneskinned or something anyhow so you can't see the colours...
tpgo: COOL! Dye drops will be a nice incentive for even level 40s to PvM other than gear.
ela/tpgo: people mis-tagging their chars will be dealt with, but what about actual guild member chars? The do not require the tags to be in the guild, right??
dd: I think it explains itself... Just get 5 active members on (now) and revive it, otherwise you snooze you loose I would assume.
if that be the case then i will try to arrange for all the members to be on over chistmas and kill everyone on the server...maybe that will make a statement. .......and btw, we will probably be from MA or SL cuz the rest of the factions are a bunch of pansies.

Sleeth's faction initials are AO not MA or SL. MA is in Garagoth and SL is in Menzoduran. Still working on getting the other AO order active. Have 3-4 active AO guild members right now so hopefully we will be up and running before too long.
