Quick question on prestige classes

I'm new here, and I read the faction guide, but I'm still a little confused about one thing. I understand the certain prestige classes are available in only a certain faction. Does that mean others are precluded?

For a specific example, could someone in Mystral Ascendency make a character that prestiged into Arcane Archer? or Weapon Master?

any prestige class not listed as faction specific can be taken by anyone in any faction.

yeah, but you should make sure you check the list before you make your char. For example, assassins are only allowed in Shadow Legion but your 1st lvl class might not be accepted by that faction initially due to other requirements. I would hate for you to find out by surprise when you lvl all the way up to your prestige req. that you cant select it because you're not in the right faction (happened to me recently). Also note that multiple prestige classes (assassin/sd for example) are not available.
