More testing tonight...
Haste seems to add 1 extra attack per round to the target at the target's highest Attack Bonus. No problem with this. (Further testing indicated doubly hasted chars get 2 extra ttacks a round at this AB...crazy exploit!!)
The problem lies with Epic Dodge. Epic Dodge only nullifies the first attack each round. A hasted char can avoid this missed attack completely by having the extra attack at their highest AB.
In Pen and Paper (3.0 rules), Epic Dodge allows the char to choose which attack to make miss among any of the attacks that actually hit, once per round.
Can a change be made to Epic Dodge that reflects the true intention behind it?
Perhaps just making the extra attack from haste at highest AB - 2, would suffice?
These suggestions would make sneaks a little more viable in all PvP battles instead of fodder for all classes except vs mages. Any thoughts?
Haste negates Epic Dodge
It's not just haste that's bad with Epic Dodge... that feat is a garbage pile of problems that Bioware made and hasn't so far fixed to anyone's satisfaction. Many, many conditions in the game will prevent Epic Dodge from going off at all, let alone merely being the victim of a second attack at high BAB. If I were you, I'd avoid taking it if you can until some future patch when Bioware actually straight-out says that they've fixed it somehow; otherwise, don't bother at all to fix it yourself.

Dam ... I just took it.
Actually, I'm loving epic dodge so for. I'm fighting hasted creatures (Ice Effreet) and sure, their second attack may be at their highese bab, but they still miss their first one. Thats one hit you are taking instead of two!
Because I'm into tumbling away from the fight (as are most rogue characters), epic dodge totally rules. Float in, attack, float out. If they do manage to get a hit in, a beautiful "attack evaded" message appears.
So far, I am impressing myself with my epic dodge mojo. Hasted enemies have not made me regret taking it yet.
