UBER BUILD!!!!!
i was wondering some of you uber players out there what some good builds were the best ive eard is druid/monk/shadow dancer. all i have to say is dragon with monkac bonous hiding in plain sight ....! sounds kinda cool any other good builds out there?
SD/Monk/Druid dragons are probably the best builds I've ever seen on NS. Of course, they're rarer than cold fusion since hunting rats has vanished, but I still don't know of anything that could beat them. The problem with them is that they must be built VERY precisely... I'm sure everyone who had one back in the day will agree that they scrapped plenty of characters before they got it right in the end.
Nowadays, it's more up in the air... with the (great!) nerfing of IGMS recently, mages lost their monopoly on the top, but they're still definitely very, very good with Auto-Quicken and death spells. SD/Rogue is always reliable at all levels. Cleric/Weaponmasters have been very good in the past, but also must be made very precisely and have somewhat disappeared lately. And my all-time-favorite build for myself is caster Cleric with a few in Paladin, since 50+ SR and near-undispellable magic is great with death magic and awesome melee fighting ability (love those buffs! Screen res is at 1280x800 for NWN, but the buff icons still go from one side of the screen to the other!)
What do other people think, eh?

Note the nerfing on IGMS... mages don't have 240 unresistable damage a round (autoquickened) to belt out at the dragons anymore. Of course, they do in one-on-one, but the druid side of them could spit out celestial chickens to cut that damage in half nowadays.

I think it should be remembered that even without IGMS or Bigby's, a "maximized" (read: cheap) mage can beat a "maximized" dragon.
Epic Warding is far too much of a buffer for the dragon to claw through in the time he has to live ... not to mention that with all the Discipline buffs, the sorcerer stays on his feet against anything less than a critical hit. Meanwhile, Horrid Wilting is spammed uber times for an un-reflex-save-able 100-ish damage each.
Dragon dies after taking 1000 dmg.

But, it's such a draining job that, until you've DMed on an NWN server yourself, you the playerbase, have got to cut the DMs some slack. - Flailer

If I recall correctly, the typical ubermage is epic necro, ignoring the evocation spell focus as it did not lend anything towards Bigbys or IGMS.
