Well oh well where to start .... Hello everyone I'm trent (aka Maric , Artemis , Frum , William) And i'm known too RP my faction and help out the noobs when i can. Yes i'm known to protect the weak and stand up for those who are unable to stand up for themselvs and I must say one makes ALOT of ememies in my style of game play. Just today i was standing in ns city with Artemis and BAM i was attacked by another player (Exotic Collector) ... fine this is a pvp mod so lets go ... i got away from him after he got one hit on me and prepared for the battle ahead (artemis is a rouge at heart so yes he ran at first) I buffed up abit since my attacker was maybe 5 or 6 lvls higher than me . Well when i came back i proceded to kick arse and finished him off fast (I laughed to myself about the few not so nice remarks he made about me in shout) . a little shaken by how fast it was over i started on my marry way and BAM attacked again! this time it was Roamy . I smiled and disspached him as well in a fast fashion . I figured it was all over but wait ! exotic logs out then back in with Mental (a lvl 26 or 27 cleric type fighter build) ! ok fine i'll play along and after a talk about pvp we went to battle .. ( he had his lackies there watching the fight ... Eva , Roamy, and i think someone else) after we had disscused it was to be a 1 on 1 fight at my moment of victory if gave the order "f*** this kill him" Eva attack first by casting stonehold but i was ready for her and used a bigby scroll too chill her out a sec but by this time mental had recovered and was coming after me again ( remember Artemis is like 5 or 6 lvls lower than him so i had to be quick to keep my head) .. i started in on him and had him near death crawling to the shop to get away but low and behold eva recovered from the bigby and had got off a stonehold right by the door of the shop. as luck would have it i hipped at just the right time so i was stuck there but they couldn't see me . Eva casted creaping doom so my time was short indeed but the gods where with me cause i passed a save and was free! i headed into the shop with my head still attached ... 1 on 1 fight indeed. at this point I now had 4 epic foes camping the door of the shop. feeling as though i won the day I didn't mind so much at first. i figured they would soon get bored and let me get on with my life. But no they insisted on me coming out and getting my just deserts .. "the life of a defender" as eva put it. Hell i wasn't even defending sence Artemis was outcasted from a missclicked kd on a gaurd or 2 . so after an hr of Mental bickering about how i cheated by "buffing before the fight" and about how "using scrolls was unnatural" i logged out thinking they would go away after i logged in another char. Nope! after about an hr of eva pounding on my other char in the shop that happened to log in where Artemis logged out and Exotic , Mental , and 2 others i don't even remember the names are still waiting for me outside the shop! (i have now been camped there for 2 hrs ) I got bored and logged in Frum who was on the other side of the server in menzo. I log him in and BAM! attcked almost instantly by Pipi witch was ok cause i had killed her in menzo a few hrs ago . She got a bigby on me in the wizard tower but made the mistake of not casting mords on me first so i was still invis while she wasn't so all the gaurds charged and killed her. i recovered but by that time one of the lackies had found me and it was all over. I respawnd back to ns temple and started making my way out of town when who do i see about to attack ? Eva. i was ready this time and sent my epic dragon knight after her while i countered her spells but some new foe arived for the fun .... Darkness ... while dealing with Eva with my new just made epic char Frum Darkness gets a greater disspell on me so i finish eva off and get a bigby on darkness and Exotic who popped up out of the sewers charges me ..... i got a bigby on him as well and mental comes charging from god knows where now I now have darkness and exotic about to recover from bigby and mental almost on me i make my way back to the shop , rested then buffed and tried to get out of town. not happening ... pked .... fine they got me twice now so i buffed up and attempted to get out of town again and roamy gets me .... grrrrr ... fine i respawn and lost my staff due to a dissarm ... i buff up and try again ... 4 of them chased me down and killed me then eva rez kills me just for fun then makes the statment "Thats the life of a defender" . (this all happened in a span of about 2 1/2 hrs)
moral of the story ...... rping the mod just doesn't pay off
Its stories like this that just doesn't motivate me into reading for my final exams when i could be there to help... and no i wont say who i would help

Attracted by all of the shouting and wanting to help defend NS if possible I skulked into the city while all of this was going on. Unfortunately being some 20 levels lower than most of the combatants I could do little but watch.
Now I missed the first half but the second certainly appeared to me to be as per Trent's description. It was not a pleasant display at all, if the DM's have access to the server shout logs they will find some interesting reading in there.
In short there appeared to be some rather imature bullies who had decided to make somebodies evening miserable to get their own jollies.
Rather reminded me of a counterstrike server actually. Sad.
it seems to me there are a few people that need to re-read what DD posted about PKing a few weeks ago. i think maybe that should be posted on the front page again, to remind people how it should and should not be done.
willow has proven himself a very immature gamer, and a few of his friends as well. it's unfortunate that these people can't loose the angst and grow up. it doesn't take a massive intalect to realize where behavior such as his is going to lead us all. psychotic behavior should not be tolerated in real life, or on the internet. i would ask that DD take requests to ban players from the game if their behavior does not improve.
Hi everyone, this is the second time i ever posted a reply. I am just curious as to why artemis is hostile to NS and is allowed to kill gaurds, then all of a sudden someone comes into the city to gain exp also, is he allowed to stop killing the gaurds and attack me, and or us. Well it happened today when myself and hellraiser walked into ns city, when we seen artemis killing gaurds we just watched til he finished, but all of a sudden he attacked us and even with him being hostile to that faction you still lose items. One more thing i want to add, is why artemis is allowed to respawn in NS still when i was told by a DM that i couldn't when mental respawned there bout few weeks ago? Now one more thing happened tonight, it had to do with myself and hellraiser goin into NS and gettin banned for a no good reason, and i bet artemis will twist this as he do everything else. Hellraiser got banned for his own reasons, but im wondering why i got banned while i was chatting to artemis in front of NS city without any notice or warning, and no explanation. I myself think there is a whole lot of favouritism with some DM's in these servers. I may get a permanent bann for this but im really sick of gettin in trouble for things that i dont do wrong and sometimes i do, but its like some get all the trouble and others get a pat on the back. Well i can sit here all day, but i would like some reply's on this, cause ive been here since server started and never witnessed anything like this before. You want some replies? ... ok .... well i think you might have upset the gods when both you and hellraise both logged out in mid battle with Artemis , then logged back in with your uber char Mental to fight lloths defender and lloths enforcer's fight while a god was watching the whole thing. I didn't pick a fight with mental i picked a fight with a couple of dirty drow scum. You getting banned was your own doing not mine so don't try to blame me. i never once called out to a DM for help . I also hope you didn't get perma banned for it cause even with the camping , logging , and the lame tactics i still get a warm feeling of satisfaction watching you die.
Sorry Trent but you are wrong, cause i crashed and hellraiser never logged with a high lvl char, so like i said before get your story straight please, this is how you get innocent people in trouble. For some reason the DM's take your side like when i got killed as mental few weeks ago and you found out that i was bind in ns while being hostile as an outcast, so why are you still bind there when you had a prob;lem with that and used the shout to let everyone know. TBD got on shout also and agreed with you, so i changed my bind point to avendell. I think you should do the same, if not and the DM's dont have a problem with that, then to me they favour you. You act so cocky when you win, but when you lose you have excuses and ppl get into trouble. One more thing also, remember when i was in front of NS city talking with you did i say anything out of the way? If not i would like for whatever DM booted me to explain why, because i had no warning or explanation either. So say what you like artemis, because it just seems like no one else is allowed in NS city only you even while you are hostile to them now, you are killing gaurds t, then when someone walks thro you attack them. This dont make any sense, and i dont care if you are outcasted by accident, thats just the breaks. Anyway, I'll be seeing you.

Before making your daily false accusations about DMs favoring one PKer over another, you must first realize what I told you: I frowned upon the notion of binding in a hostile city.

However, there SHOULD be something done about it ... but until then, it is simply very, very ... very bad RP to do so. Right alongside choosing the Last Alliance for the sole purpose of being able to raid it without worry of losing items (Bill of NR).
