Human favored class and XP

Post by Flailer »

Since humans (and half elves) have their favored class listed as 'Any', will they automatically receive the 10% XP bonus on level up, no matter what multiclasses they take?
Thanks!

i thought that only happened after they take a level of their perfered class (with humans, being whatever class the char has the most levels in)

That's standard NWN (and 3e)... the NS4 'preferred class' is different. Humans get the bonus each and every level.

because for humans, every class is a "prefered class"
but this does nto apply to human subraces, they each have thier own prefered classes.

Why not? :P
And to make sure this isn't seen as spam, I'll say something useful too.
Because those subraces are vastly different from the standard human, there are gith and other planetouched/demonbred types, half-elementals, etc. Those don't have the same outlooks on life and professions. And, if all subraces had the same pref. class, there would be less variety.

Wow, I really managed to get something useful written
There are three types of people in the world; those who can count, and those who can't.

By that same token, I guess Half-elves get that same bonuses too!

The racial bonuses of elves and half-elves look to actually matter in NS4 too!
