1-20 or 1-40

I'm still a little lost on this one. I read that the game only supported through 20 but then there was mention of HotU and noticed 1-40 on the server list.

Someone care to clarify?

well i'm gonna go out on a limb and guess a little

i think it will start out as 1-20 and slowly as time progresses we will get more and mroe lvls as teh devs create more areas

Right now, there are areas designed for players of up to 20th level. There is no level cap, so you CAN become higher level. The Planes and other "Upper Level" areas are still being designed and are not in yet, but if the Dev Team waited to open until they were finished, y'all would lynch them.

There are planned Epic levels (eg the planar areas) when the Devs implement them. For the time being, I guess we are stuck at lvl 20 =D

Officially: NS4 supports level 1-40. Creatures really only go up to around 25, but players can go as high as they can get.

Besides I think it will be a little while before any players are ready for the 20 + areas.....course that also means its a race to get there before the devs are ready.

cant ns4 be capped at 25 if there is only material, for lvl 25 maxx, that keeps it intresting, and prevents lvl 40's solo camping teh lvl 25 areas, cuzz all is easy...

seems like 25 or so is gonna be the de facto limit except for the most dedicated of players because as Joran said most monsters only go up to 25, meaning you will be getting next to nothing for experience long before you get to level 40.
