Arcane Crafting - Is It Worth It?

I was just wondering, what high level stuff can you craft with the Arcane crafting skill? Mostly I'm thinking robes and staffs, is it worth the XP it takes?

Well, it doesn't matter in my case anyway anymore, I've taken a level of RDD, so I can no longer advance in arcane crafting.

The amulet is great forwarrior classes, +5 natural ac and adds a bunch to will saves

+5 Natural AC sounds great! Well for any class without bonus spell necklaces.... or barkskin!

So I'll have to reach master artisan before my wizard Multiclasses to Monk or I'm screwed??
