Is There An Actual List Of What Spells Have Been Altered?
I'm playing a Sorc, just hit lvl 9, and I was wondering what spells have changed damage/durations? Cause I tried Haste, and that only seemed to last like, fifteen seconds, is there a list of altered spells anywhere?

Most spells that used to last an hour/level now last 1turn/level.
Summon spells that used to last 24hours now last 1hour/level, and there seems to be a cap eventually.
Also most spells that used to last 1turn/level now last 1round/level.
Personally I think it's more of an annoyance than making things more "balanced". Just makes things more tedious.

Most of the 1 round/level spells were also reduced, to 1 round/2 levels.
The consensus a few months ago was that a base duration + extension based on level was the best compromise to keep spells useful at lower levels while reducing duration at higher levels, but with development stalled I'm not sure what became of this.

It's an unlimited rest world so it's not all that bad?
But I guess this is a problem when someone is beating on you as your spells start to wear off? That would suck.
"Excuse me Mr level 30 Fighter/WM, can you please stop critting me while I rebuff so I can nuke you into the DUST???"
"Umm.... NO!"
<Thud>
Me little wizard is only level 8 at the moment but no doubt I'll have a lot to add to this in a week or so when he's 20th and starts to lay down some SMACKDOWN.

Yep I plan to take a Monk level sometime and pump Tumble and Disc through the roof, probably after I start to get KD'd
If I'd been thinking straight I would have picked Chaotic and taken a level of bard so I got Tumble, Disc and UMD but oh well......
I've already run into a Weapon Master who decided to rip me a new one. Now I suddenly wish there weren't so many weapons with +massive criticals /ROFL

Yep that's what I was meaning. Bards get Tumble, Discipline and UMD. Monks just get Tumble and Discipline and Rogues only get Tumble and UMD. So if you bank alot of skill points and take 1 bard level you can pump 3 very handy skills. For most purposes Tumble and Discipline are the most useful ones anyway so Monk is a good choice.
It is possible to script it so players can't stick more than < X > skill points into a skill PER level up. I used to a play on a world where the DM *hated* skill point banking and he implemented it. He also hated people taking 1 level of a class and so he crafted items that required < X > levels of a class. I.e. 5 Fighter levels or 10 Fighter levels or even 15 Fighter levels for uber weaps.
Back on the UMD thing.... Luckily I've just remembered that anyone can read Bioware's Raise Dead scrolls so I don't need any UMD afterall!!
Some PW's remove those from the game and instead create custom Cleric only ones. But that's normally just on those damn Roleplay servers.
Hmm Epic Skill Focus Discipline sounds like a bloody good idea!!!
Cheers!
edited yet again, can you please try to make atleast a few posts without profanity?

there is about 5 pages about a similar idea being implemented... it's one of the thread in gen. disc. announcementsHe also hated people taking 1 level of a class and so he crafted items that required < X > levels of a class. unluckily... all items in NS4 are custom (or are bioware items purposely placed)Back on the UMD thing.... Luckily I've just remembered that anyone can read Bioware's Raise Dead scrolls so I don't need any UMD afterall!!

Why should duration at high levels be reduced? doesn't a PURE lvl 40 caster deserve a 4 minute haste?ost of the 1 round/level spells were also reduced, to 1 round/2 levels.
