Master Artisans
Master Artisans
Trying to reach Master Artisan in tailoring and arcane crafting (with two different chars). Eventually I would like to have Master Artisans in all crafts, so I am trying to find out where all the MA level crafting stations are.
From searching the forum, so far I have:
Armor: Gnolls
Martial weapons: ?
Exotic weapons: ?
Fletching: Melencia (Outdoor), Li'Narla (sp?)
Leather: ?
Arcane crafting: ?
Tailoring: ?
If anyone care to help me fill in the blanks, that would be greatly appreciated.

i just hit master artisan with arcane crafter.
And let me tell you i was very disappointed
I was looking for something that would help me, but i got nothing! they had ammys of wisdom (that no one wanted to buy, because apparently wis +5 ammys are in large supply), no rods of premonition or something equally good, just enervation and flame arrow .
The staffs had a good deal of castable stat buffs, but already being at +12 int, it was pointless .
What i HOPED for: something with regen, something with resistances/immunities espcially to non-physicals (you are a mage after all), something to increase my int/char farther (you ARE a master artisan, the top of your class, and staffs are known to increase intelligence/charisma), anything of the like.
Again, really not worth it

With only a few days away from reaching master for arcane that is bad news. I agree, I was hoping for some powerful item wand/rod for premonition or disjunction something along those lines (at least some stronger buff then ghostly visage). I am sure i will get it eventually but with this news maybe I will just take the long route and only use half the xp to get it.
Thanks for the heads up.

First you complain about getting int buff spells because you are already at +12 int then you complain about staves not having int enhancing properties. WTF?Knightwing4 wrote:i just hit master artisan with arcane crafter.

Um, I've never seen a staff increase INT or CHA in NS4, so that theory is wrong. NS4 shouldn't be compared to any other world, it just doesn't make sense to. :)

Knightwing, can you post screen shots of the Master Artisan items in Arcane crafting similar to the posts by Bob (leatherworking) and Jester (armorcrafting) in other threads? If you do, please include the info on xp/gold.
Bob, care to reveal which crafting station you used for Master Artisan leatherworking?

Crafted Silvery Amulets
All my fighter builds use amulets of will both for the wis bonus (and therefore will save) and the natural AC bonus. The highest AC silvery amulet has the highest natural AC bonus (1 more than mithril amulet of will) I've seen AND adds to wis and will saves (which combined is almost twice what a mithril amulet of will adds). In fact the natural AC bonus from the higher of the two AC bonus amulets renders potions and scrolls of barkskin obsolete!
