Trouble with characters being locked out?

Hi guys,

It happened again so here goes:

Account name: Badgeraxe Greendragon
Character name: Greendragon, Level 16 Fighter/Dwarven Defender
Location: Avendell
I get a message telling me that my character is having trouble portalling.

Also, there is a character called "Shadow X" that shows up on my character list but is not mine, can you delete it? If you can will you also delete the "Badgeraxe", "Dinosaurd" and the "The Meat Shield" characters.

I am right outside neversummer gates, slightly to the north but I don't think a changed screens.

You can just put him in Byrne/Malencia/Daeron or anywhere north of avendell. Thanks -Rob

Please note that locked out characters are in referance to the occasional bug that crops up that keeps the location update from writing correctly and thereby locking you into the loading neversummer loop.

Characters that are on server 4 are just that, still on server 4 with their locations correctly stored and as such not bugged or locked out. If your characters are on server 4 you will have normal access to them again once the area that they are in is available.

I'm locking this thread. Anyone with a GENUINELY bugged character can let me or one of the other DM's know. Characters whose last known location is on Server 4: If the server is DOWN, your characters are NOT bugged, just temporarily out of action. Once the server comes back up, you can play them. Until that time, they're stuck in the "Loading Neversummer" area and not playable.

Server 4 is Neversummer City, Avenedell, and the south-east regions of the continent.
