Can I lose a level by dying?

Can I lose a level by dying?

I've just recently leveled up and picked a feat I'd rather not have now. Can I get myself killed a few times to drop a level and pick another feat instead? Anybody did that already?

You can lose a level by dying. I've not done it intentionally yet, but it is doable.

Yes, I've one it both on purpose and on accident.
