Just need to make sure i have this clear.
when choosing a subrace, the additional abilities granted to that subrace are considered enchantments. correct?
if this is the way it is, then the prime requisite skills required for certain classes can not be met by choosing a race that adds the sufficient boost to the required skill. correct?
for example: a fighter that wishes to dual class as a paladin must have a base 14cha score before choosing the +2cha from the aasimar subrace, as the +2cha is considered an enchantment.
please correct me if i am wrong.
additionally, the ability bonuses must also count toward maximum ability score over the natural score. correct?

but you are correct the +2 is as an enchant like you cast eagles splendor in your example. Just cant be dispelled.
EDIT:
so if for some reason you wanted to make a weapon master and gave you char a base 11 int expecting a +2 from your subrace, when you were leveling your int would still only be 11 so you could not take expertise.
If it says Moki Moki Moki on the Label Label Label your gonna be in Trouble Trouble Trouble!!!

First: Moki is right, there is no stat requirement for any classes.
It is indeed treated as enchantment until the devs can work out a way to do it as a permanent change (bioware doesn't make it easy).

True. But don't worry about that. With a few rare exceptions you'll never notice that there's a +12 cap.Danhalen wrote:additionally, the ability bonuses must also count toward maximum ability score over the natural score. correct?

I've read that very spolied meat has mold growning on it that waves hello when the container is opened.

It was my understanding that you could create a character with casting abilities (pally, sorc, etc) without the required stat high enough to be able to cast spells ...... there were just some buggy issues that you would have to deal with.
