John, I feel for you. We made the post so that players who had issues and confided in us to help them would know to send those Screen shots and complaints to someone who could help them.

As far as why we left it is really no concern of yours nor do I even care what you think.

For those of you who I do know and whom I have played with as a player a DM or a server operater I will miss you guys. It is you who made this mod so good.

Everyone is always complaining or quiting, or yelling, or whining, or quiting, or complaining, or crying, etc, etc, etc. So to this post I say "meh" This is a game, and someone is always willing to take over where ever you left off. If you really wanted to quit, you wouldn't feel the need to tell eveyone. If you really wanted to quit, you'd just leave, quitely and without making a fuss. You wouldn't post to see how many people begged you to stay. Too many people do this, and too many people come back. It's a good game we play here, and if you get fed up find something else to do. All of you freaky people need to learn that a game, a char, a level, an item, does not make you special. Does it impact your life if you have the best char in the game? No. I didn't think so. To everyone here I will put it very bluntly: Shut up. No one cares if you leave. I'll still keep playing this game, so will everyone else. So MZ, MR, I don't know why you quit, nor do I care. Sounds like two people forgot this is a game. From reading the forums, sounds like most people forgot.

I do respect your opion, now I will say what i will
I am sad to see them leave not becuase they had strong chars or what happened in the game, but thier were a part of the comunity. Go look on the south forums, Mz and Mr were apart of this comunity. Mz took in the chars from the north when it was taken down ( for ns4), so we did not have to start completly from scratch, and now Mz had been keep the south alive for all those who dont or cant play Ns4 since the devs released open beta.
As for forgetting this is a game. I did not do that. I dont play this game becuase I want to have the best char or feel good that i finnaly got a G1 item. I play Ns3 and 4 becuase of the comunity, it is not many games that I can find comunities such as this. By saying we are freaky people who forgot this is a game just does not slide with me. It seem unfair to say so. That is all i have to say.

I never met you both Mr and Mz, but your prescence both here and NS3 has been immense. To Mz I would like to say thank you, you were kind to my sister *The Whisperer* and I know she had a lot of respect for you for that, she too will be saddened to hear of you both leaving. On behalf of her and myself, I wish you both well in whatever tomorrow brings you both. May it bring you joy and happiness.

I would like to totally agree with Sakad. It is a community we build when playing this game. Does it impact on my life to have the best char, to be the l33t player....no of course not. But what does impact is the *community and what happens to those people behind the player. I play to have fun and to meet others from around the world. Yes John, it is a game, but it is a game played by people, real people, not automotons. It is the people I interact with through the medium of my character and this game. Your opinion is yours as mine is mine...so guess what? I care what happens to Mr and Mz. I care that they have been gracious enough to help people. I care that they have thought of others and have announced their departure. Now I suppose I leave myself open to your ridicule but to be honest I dont care, Mr and Mz however I do care about.

I have said my farewells to the Shadows elsewhere, but I will miss them very very much. The loss to the community here is immeasurable.

As to all the other DMs hating the Okies, not true. It is not totally true. If any player Okie or otherwise has an issue I am always free to listen. Not to put to fine a point on it but the last three "Okie" complaints I have responded to have ended up in a ruling for the Okies and not the complainers, just people trying to ride on the Okies "bad image" for some instant gratification.

WTF, These are teh two best DM's we have ever had (next to maybe TGPO) This isn't our gripe forum about Okies, Pking, or anything else. Mz, Mr, You made this experience awesome and actually made me want to stay in NS3 when north was rolled into the south server. Further, you two have given many, including me, the wisdom required to eaze off on my okie hating (to the point where I actually don't hate okies ) and have learned to further enjoy how amazing this server is. Even though someone "might" fill your shoes, those are some really big shoes to fill. I am happy to have been helped and served by you two. This community has grown because of Mz's and Mr's endless dedication to the players. It is just a game, yet in many ways this game has touched every single player, in part because of Mr and Mz's contributions.

Please, lets lock this forum so we can end this on a high note

Mz_Shadow and Mr_Shadow, Thank your for your service. You will be missed by those who know you, and I am sad for those who will never know the contribution you gave to this community. Thank you, for we all owe you two a debt of gratitude.

They had to go, for a reason some may not know.

So let us not intrigue ourselves and just respect that.

If they come back, fine. If not... same, fine too since we had to respect their decision.

Then again we may never know what they did or what pushed them to quit just as how most of us don't know wth happened to grisbane or how solates is doing or if delorin is still with us. We may not know but we just have to accept it.

And yes, if you think Mz or Mr was a pro okie... just blame it on that peculiar note on the gods list that there should be one brave soul who can rule and be Okie God. So it's just RP... if not... well its just a friggin game.

Besides is there a use of posting in the forums? I mean if they are gone... they wouldnt even check the forums now would they? Hehehehe.

I've mostly expressed my feelings in private a while back, and you guys know how I feel, but I haven't said goodbye, so I'll do that here. I'm not the most talkative sort and haven't spoken with you much Mr, but we were always cool and I wish you well. Mz, while I'm cool with some DMs, you're the only DM I truly considered a friend and I'll really miss your presense, be well and I hope you guys find great happiness and success.
