Hi Delisha, I had the same issue

Try direct connecting to: ns4.nsrealm.com

I went on the IRC and Mining had me try that and it worked for me

How was lag during Wednesday's plane run? Better or worse than last week's?

Worse premid adventure reset, better in the post. Party ran a pretty steady 20 toons, with 4-8 additional toons no related to party.

Note: prereset we had a toon that appeared to go afk and unresponsive a good 30 minutes before the reset, and did not return afterwards.

At one point I had died and laid dead on the ground with negative hp, but no respawn screen popup. Could not move, and appeared dead, but party stated that I was just standing there, alive. Relogged and returned standing with positive HP. Lag for me was horrible overall, unable to find paths, standing, huffing and puffing, run up, swing my first 2x in the first phase, huff and puff, then lag would catch up and mob was dead, xp gained, party across the screen. I ultimately decided to leave the adventure on the screen before white lord. One of my worst bouts of lag yet.

Could be just me or my route... as some other members reported no problems, but some others also had issues too.

It varied, occasionally the server would just forget about me until relog (nothing would update except mini-map of locations). No exorbitant cpu/ram locally, gpu wasn't sweating it.

Didn't drop a lot of pings while this was going on, didn't notice a difference in trace either. Didn't check from server side.

I was playing separately helping a friend level a level 30 toon. Lag was really bad (this was prior to reset). We wiped a few times and eventually decided to just play another night instead.

Wow - I was also playing separately, from about 9-11 EST, and had almost no lag. I was even thinking how much better it was compared to other Wednesdays.

My cleric in the EPW party had a somewhat difficult time healing because of the lag. But for an extended period, a toon in party was afk alive several screens back. We know that separate locations in party does cause some lag most times. But after the reset, which also eliminated that afk toon, I had only the slightest lags mostly because of large spell casts.

Please let me know if it would be helpful to upgrade to the next level of service for the server. I will consider paying for the increased cost of operation.

Please provide the current monthly cost and what it would cost to upgrade the service. It is acceptable to send me a PM if you don't want to post in the forums.

Probably a tier higher on ram/cpu than we need anyway. It's network.

Dark Forest event tonight, probably 15 or so players in group, started a few hrs before reset and continued till 10 mins or so after reset. Massive balor spawn 'all you can kill' right before reset... couldn't finish all of 'em in time. Lag was actually really good, even in those final minutes before reset with mega spawn. No major slowdowns at all, much better than epic wednesday.

I opened a ticket with our hosting provider. From what they said it sounds like they're having some ARP issues with some of the servers and provided a workaround. I put the workaround in place, so please let me know if it improves the lag some people have been experiencing.

The workaround didn't improve performance and the hosting provider has implemented a permanent fix for it. So the next step(s) we're taking per the hosting provider's recommendation is upgrading the server to the next tier. I performed the upgrade a few minutes ago, so let me know if things improve or stay the same. Then we will think about upgrading again after Wednesday night's Planar run.
