Does the Death Rapier Drop?

I know the Death Rapier used to be bugged and would not drop

I have been gone a while and am wondering if this is still the case or is it just an incredibly rare drop and I just have to kill 100s of Death Archers

I fixed it a few years so it should drop now... However I made it exceptionally rare.

I don't find hacky sideload anywhere in my definition of the word fix. Probably an Ausism.
