The place for the battle will be one that you cannot normally get to. We have lots of those available and that will be that for "where".

I would hope Fury will make an exception on multiboxing so DMs can play their DMz tagged toons AND officiate simultaneously - I promise, we won't cheat.

Another question: ban draco skulls?

Thoughts on ridiculous cheese in general:
Healing rings, # of?
Res scrolls and similar?
How many hellballs?
If a cleric makes a break for it, (cleric/SD, perhaps), can it rest?

All tricky questions that need to be considered carefully.

They already said no scrolls except 1 heal, 1 GR.

I think (?) they also said somewhere no healing ring/ammy spam, and I presume all hellballs are OK, although upon consideration a triple-hellball wizard team does seem like it could burst down nearly anything. And what survives that, they can bigby.

Looks good - would avoid use of Fury Guild Hall, solely because access at all times for features is good.

I'm thinking 1 raise/resurrection scroll or item per player maybe? I don't mind it so much in relic combat, but things might get tedious if the last guy alive just goes on evasion and raises their teammates over and over. Raises cast by a cleric should be fair game.
Sebastian (TSS) Doc - Rufio of (TSS) - Dagr (TSS)
Raijin {FoN} - Arcadia {FoN} - Geb {FoN}

I'd even say none. Dealing with a cleric twice is ridiculously annoying, even if you have your own cleric.

Greetings all... :D

Thanks for all the great input
Looks good - would avoid use of Fury Guild Hall, solely because access at all times for features is good
The new design of the Fury Guild Hall (already sent) allows access to all anytime... the front door unlocked, the barracks (persistent chests) and the main meeting room (equip dyer) are locked allowing Fury members only... The reason for this design is to allow 90% of our players (who would never get an opportunity to see the inside of the Fury Guild) a chance to do so... :D

We will hash over all your comments and present a new set of detailed, revised rules for Fury Fight Club... will post after the Defender event

We live to fight... We fight to live!
Hail Fury!

Its not solely because of that, but also because your guild hall is, by definition, in Melencia, and thus not a bind point for MASLLAAORK toons, and also a dangerous spot for lower levelled toons. If the fight club map is in Terrace Mettle, it's within a 30 second walk of Avendell, which is easily reached and bound to by everyone, including level 1-5ish toons.

Re: Fury Fight Club -questions answered

Post by Delisha Zrazorian »

Answers - Mord /Delisha / Higgy

Q: Is there any rule for non-healing scrolls/wands/rods/pots?
A: Nope… stock up

Q: Also, along this line, perhaps mining could program a persistent container for each team to use as "lockers". this way people could store all of their extra scrolls and pots here, so that the toon starts with only the allowed number of scrolls ect. this way they don't get 'inadvertently' used twice during a fight.
A: We agree… but come prepared people… why waste time unloading… be ready... Hail Fury…

Q: the duration could exclude some players, might be necessary/fair to do the finals or even quarter finals on a following date. The number of teams who sign up to begin with should give good indication.
A: Good Idea We agreed :)

Q: Kiting, harassment can all be very powerful, especially by all day builds with monk levels / access to hastes vs stuff like casters. An example: X/cleric/SD with travel/trickery should be able to wear down a party forever by just kiting around the outskirts.
A: Tournament points system should discourage this type of play, as the outcome would be a tie sending both teams to the looser bracket

Q: Another question: ban draco skulls?
A: yes

Q: Thoughts on ridiculous cheese in general:
A: 2 Healing Rings, 1 Ammy

Q: Res scrolls and similar?
A: Each PC is allowed –
1 resurrection scroll
1 greater restoration scroll
1 raise dead scroll
1 healing kit
1 healing scroll

Q: How many hellballs?
A: No restriction

Q: If a cleric makes a break for it, (cleric/SD, perhaps), can it rest?
A: Yes, anyone can rest

Q: I would hope Fury will make an exception on multiboxing so DMs can play their DMz tagged toons AND officiate simultaneously - I promise, we won't cheat.
A: Our pleasure :D

Pleez post any other questions or concerns you may have ASAP… so the rules can be revised and this teams event can be put in motion…

We hope, as many do, that the Fury Fight Club will become a regular occurrence and like all new endeavors, the rules will become more finely tuned by each blood-soaked happening

Praise Mielikki… Praise Torm… Hail Fury!
