I am returning to NS4

Hey everyone.

I just got back into NWN and I'm going to come back to Neversummer. I'm surprised people still play the game after almost 9 years, and it's good to see that this is one of the most popular PW Action servers still around. It's nothing like it was back in they heyday when 40-50 poeple would be on at once, but I've always thought this was one of the best built and balanced PWs around. That's why even though I tried various other PWs from time to time, I stuck with NS.

I've been snooping around with a couple of alt accounts and lurking on the boards to see what things are like before coming back. The biggest change of course was the removal of LA as a faction. I had originally made many different toons there in the old days, and naturally when guilds had to pick a faction and we took LA, all my toons were from there. Naturally I'm going to have to go with a different faction now.

My two favorite factions are RK and MA, so I'll probably end up in one of them. I see the Brethren have moved to RK, and I'd be glad to join up with my old guild again, if they're still active. Downside is that I prefer playing human characters, but I nearly go for dwarves or gnomes when I'm not playing humans, so RK isn't bad at all. MA isn't a bad alternative, I like the power hungry mages and such, downside is that's it kind of out in the boonies. And RK and MA have my two favorite intros. NC is a distant 3rd possibility. I've never been all that fond of OA; TC feels limiting and I don't really like druids, so I probably won't go there. SL is a definite no, it's always been my least favorite of the factions, because I don't like drow.

A lot of people around here seem to be new, I don't recognize a lot of the names. There's a few people here and there I remember, but not many.
